I've seen one charging foul get called (Kyrie ran into Zsa Zsa) I haven't seen any blocking or over the back fouls.

I've seen a few charges, definitely in there. Funny enough, they were all on Draymond Green running down the lane like a maniac.

          No blockings though either.

I personally like the lack of fouls, much better pace to the game even though it's not realistic from a stat standpoint. I understand why people want that slider up though, because of this.

I know I'm verging on fanboy right now though, but I really like the fouls in general, they feel earned and same with the and 1s. They don't feel scripted at all (yet). I always watch the replays too because they look nice animation wise.

The new update made it feel easier to knock down shots. I was hitting more shots while guarded but in the flow of the game and blew out the cavs on allstar. Prior to the update I had not blown out any of the cpu teams on allstar. It would either be a close game or the cpu blowing me out.

Man I hope you just had a good shooting game because shooting was once aspect that I thought was really balanced...

Live really has a good foundation here. I really enjoyed my time with the demo.

Not a buy for me this year, but I'm very excited to see where they take the game in the next few years.

I would agree with that. Was hoping they wouldn't touch shooting, the percentages of makes was fair to me. Forced ppl to drive and create more than just launch 3s.

                  Will test later.

NBA Live 18 - Demo Impressions

So one of the things that irks me:
Some of the POST jumpshot animations (i.e the Curry squat follow-thru) is a dead giveaway that the shot is going in. Seeing certain post jumpshot animations is equivalent to seeing the green meter in 2K (or in this game for that matter).
Has anyone witnessed a missed shot after these "money" post jumpshot animations?
I probably hate this more than anything...other than the fact that I see too many players doing it too many times in a game that would never do it even once in real life.

I'm pretty sure there are some layup animations that arent programmed to miss...there are some that I already know are 100% going in..

Man, I really wish there was an option for camera relative dribble controls. Also the opening tip always going straight to the PG still kinda kills the immersion for me. Is there a new way to do a hop step?

Well you can block them.. but I am not a fan of the automatic floaty push shots at all. Thankfully they're toned down, but could rid those all together. Can have an incredibly immersive game, stars taking initiative, role players doing their parts, then all a sudden ZaZa or Tristan Thompson will hit 2 ugly floater shots in a row that looked like they had no timing required and no chance of missing. The one where they aren't looking at the basket really and just float it up high off the backboard.

I've airball some layups trying to force a bad one and what not, so that is nice to see.

Honestly I don't think the hop step is in the game.I've been trying to do one in practice with no luck.

lmao. I was telling my friends last night "I don't know how to describe it, but it's like, they needed to mo-cap more misses"
