I love how people saw like two highlights of him and proclaimed him to be an instant lottery pick. These so called draft experts were really reaching with all that BS

Granted, guys have bad workouts, but he doesn't look like a ball player at all. An athlete, certainly. I guess in this draft a lottery pick isn't that absurd, but I don't expect anything out of him anytime soon.

I like the nastiness I keep hearing about with Vesely. He's not just a freakish athlete, everything I read on the Euro ball sites says he's a mean mofo that loves to play physical almost to a fault, and he's a gym rat. Doesn't have any handles, and the J is still under construction, but I like chippy players.

As far as Jenkins, I was told that the Cavs sabermetric guys saw that his iso situation conversion numbers were through the roof, and that they like his toughness. He quoted some numbers and percentages that were over my head, lol. Supposedly the Cavs would like to package the #4 and Sessions to move down and get an extra pick for next year, and jenkins is one of the guys their looking at at the bottom of the first rd.

Either way I'll be happy with Irving and whoever.

Jan Vesely is a pick that has "Bryan Colangelo" written all over it !

If Kanter & Knight are gone by 5. I wouldn't be shocked at all if David Stern announces his hame when the Raps pick at 5.

Still pushing for Vesely. Obviously a gamble at 4 but outside of Irving, Williams, and Knight in the top 4, I think anyone is a gamble that high.

Would not be opposed at all to ship Sessions and the number 4 out for a potential lottery pick next year. The more picks in next year the better.

Couldn't read the rest of the article because I'm not an ESPN Insider so maybe someone who is could check this article out, "Draft focus shifts to Europe".

Here's the bit I got to read for free:

For the past few weeks NBA teams have been focused on working out college players in individual workouts. But this week the focus begins to shift toward a bevy of international players in the draft.
A number of teams left the U.S. this past week to get a look at some of the top prospects in Europe. This weekend, I'll join many of them at the adidas Eurocamp in Treviso, Italy. Here's a look at what they're finding:
                        • The first stop for several teams, including the Utah Jazz, Toronto Raptors and Washington Wizards, was the Serbian finals in Belgrade. They were there to see the Czech Republic's Jan Vesely.
Of all of the top international players in this year's draft, Vesely is the most accomplished. He's really played a key role for Partizan for three years, and at age 21 is really coming into his own.
A number of NBA scouts and execs saw Vesely shine Wednesday when he had 18 points and five rebounds in the game that gave Partizan the Serbian title. Vesely shot 7-for-9 from the field and, surprisingly, hit two of the three 3-pointers he took.
"He's as close to a sure thing as you'll get in Europe," one NBA scout remarked. "You factor in his size, athleticism and his production in Europe, and I don't see how he fails."

I think waste of time is a little harsh, keep in mind he's been playing ball less than 3 years, and his offense was never touted as a strength but a large drawback, once he starts working with NBA coaches I expect that his offense will round out at least to some degree. That being said I think he should go to college for a year (at least, preferably 2) and come out when he's 21 in 2013.

Charles Jenkins from Hofstra. The things I have read and heard about him is that he can really score. He might not be a pure point guard, more of a combo but they said his numbers in iso situations were really good last year. I think Luke Winn of SI has him as his sleeper for the draft.

Why do you like both colleges I despise? Lemme guess, you are a Seminole fan to right?
