Thanks for the tip, bdolski. Any particular reason(s) that you care to get into? Have you found other brands just cheap/low-quality in general?

What are you doing tomorrow? Had this "richard" bail on me after I made a guaranteed tee time for 13:30. Its only $22 on a par 70 with not yet ready Bermuda fairways.

As much as I'd love to golf tomorrow that isn't in my cards.
Don't get off work until 7am and then at 10 I am picking up a new stove.

To me it was between Gold Pride and Winn. And from what I heard GP last longer than Winn does, and being younger, I figured I'd want to get a few years out of my grips. Had I regripped them every year or even every other year I would have considered Winn more. But I ended up settling and being very happy with Golf Pride's Tour Wrap grips.

That is what I have heard about the differences between Golf Pride and Winn grips.....GP last longer according to most folks.

I still swear by Lamkin grips. Think they are the best on the market.

I got new grips last year since I don't play in the Winter months. I'll get new grips this winter. Loved my NDMC and plan to try the new ones. Hopefully they will be available in midsize then. My local GG only has standard.

Thanks for the input, guys. Probably go w/ the GolfPrides. I like a good wrap grip (no jokes...), so I'll probably see what the local golf equipment purveyor has on offer.

I use Winn Dry Tac on wedges and woods. Still have to decide what grips to put on for my irons when I replace those which will be this coming winter.
I do them myself which I'm assuming most do since it's pretty easy to do.

I also grabbed a pair of Footjoy Contour shoes today. Decided to go back to spikes...

Loved my footjoy DNAs when I first got them. But the two outside spikes on my left foot keep coming out and the housing for them is all messed up. Played less than 20 rounds and I'm not to happy at their response. May be done with footjoy for a while after this.

The housing won't properly screw in and my torque means I lose one or both every round.

My old Nikes (2 years ago) had the same issue. Had 2 inserts that got jacked up and could not replace the spikes. Hopefully the FJ's will not be an issue.

I use the Golf Pride Multi Compound grips myself. I just love the feel and feedback you get with them. Other grips remove the feeling you get from the club face at impact, the Multi compounds on the other hand let you feel every miss hit.

Shot a 42 on the back 9 yesterday. Hit some great shots and got lucky on 11. Hit a hard slicing 3 wood. That somehow hit a tree that was the only thing that kept if from going 30 yards OB and came back 25 yards to the center of the fairway. My approach left me a sweeping right to left 25 footer for bird that I hit to 4 inches. I was putting out of my mind yesterday. Longest was about 15 feet.
