Ok, I get it now. It really does'nt bother me and I can see Bethseda's reason for doing so. It seems like the ppl complaining about the level system want to be god early and destroy every enemy they face. In Morrowind, I cant remember how but I fell upon a nice set of armor that gave me over 100 defense. Something like 140 defense total. I'm talking Helm, Curaiss, Pauldron, Gloves, the whole 9. After I found that, every fight was a walk in the park. Albeit I had problems every once in a while, for the most part I ran through and killed every one in my path. I completed the set with a magic shield and I was unstoppable and I was only like Level 8 at that time.
This is what the complainers want to do. They want to find or steal weapons, equippment, etc, that is the best there is like you could do in Morrowind. As well as the creatures staying the same level throughout for quick kills. Bethseda implemented this system to ensure that the game will stay challenging from beggining to end. No problem with that at all. I would hate to make it to the end of the game and kill the final boss easily like was done for lots of ppl in Morrowind.
Only bad thing is it eliminates the fear I had roaming the world of Morrowind. You never knew if you'd walk in a dungeon, run into a guy with full armor and a big *** magic weapon and he'd crush you with a few blows. Now since everyone is somewhat on your level, you pretty much know that you can walk into any cave, dungeon or home and be able to have a fair match. IMO, it keeps the game more fresh having a constant challenge. Instead of becoming a god early and running through the game. (Although it did feel good to be a god
Anyway, I understand fully the reason for the level scaling. Weapons and armor never being to higher than your own level. Merchants all selling the same things. Gives you something to look foward to in the future of your adventure. As for not being rewarded for exploring as some have made it seem....I've always had plenty on my plate as far as quest goes. I have 10 active quest right now as we speak. I've never once explored a cave just because I happen to see it along the road. Exploring just for the sake of exploring is a rarity in this game. For me anyway. Maybe one day if I get bored and dont have much to do I'll explore but just as the case in Morrowind, I haven't came across that problem yet.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

I think you're underestimating it.
People are reporting that at higher levels - it can take over 30 mins to kill a single enemy. People reported taking an HOUR to actually kill certain enemies when they reached 20 or so. They're also saying that because of this, and scaled items - bandits and the likes are running around with "rare" and "unique" items when you get to higher levels, making them not so unique or rare, and extremely hard to fight sometimes.
Not everyone is scaled - so you still need to watch your butt when just wandering around.Comment

(Excpet for Altlectics of course) But since the creatures did'nt level up in Morrowind, everything was fine. If I had this same character in Oblivion, I would have a tough time at higher levels because of the non-damage or unusable majors I had. I picked right this time in Oblivion so no worries for me. I get it now, there seems to be two diffrent complaints with it. One is not being rewarded for exploring because in Morrowind, you could get lucky and find some rare and unique items early. That is what my first post was about.
The second is the fact that enemeis level at the same rate and if you have non-damge Majors, you'll get your a** handed to you by better enemies. Thats what the second post is about.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Can anyone help with the quest "The sirens deception" for the fighters guild. Its about Maeolona and her saying that girls seduce men to come to there farm and steal there money...Maeolona's husband was a victim.
Where can i find the husband, or something to further this along

What do you do about the Vampire Hunters quest? I found the guy who was killed in Burma, but two guards are there and I can't do anything. I've tried charming the one who will talk, to no avail. I also found a body in the basement, but don't know what to do. Please help!
Also, where do I find that something Pass that the countess of Burma sent me to find? I have the map, letter, and key...yet nothing shows up on the map when it's my active quest. HELP!I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be. - Douglas Adams

My 10 year old son says he just keeps going around in circles in this dungeon. This is after the sewar and into the next area. I'm in the same area as he is, but he is further along than I am. I put myself to sleep on a bed in this dungeon or castle.
Does anyone know how to get my son out of going in circles in the dungeon. I told him to try to talk to people and he said, not when they attack, dad.

*SPOILERS*
For the Vampire Hunter, after a day or so the dead guys wife will appear there. Get the Investigator's dispostion up to 70 and he will tell you about the vampire hunter. IIRC, he tell you he can be found at the inn. When you go to the inn, speak to the owner and you must get his disposition up to 70 as well and he'll tell you that the hunter is in the room. I dont want to spoil it for you any more. If you need more help, let me know. You have more to do. But when in doubt, check you quest entry, they usually point you in the right direction.
For the second quest with Pass Point, head up north till you get to this rock structure. There is a path on the map that leads right to it. When at the rock, the diary tells you to head west till you see a statue facing north. You're right over that way. For some reason, every time I try to kill someone in the night to join the dark brotherhood the person I am trying to kill always seems to get away before I can finish them off. Is it just because I am too low level? im level 3 right now.
