On a random note, why is every asari outside of Dr. Tsoni a bitch? The difference in personalities is drastic.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Conversely, being diligent about checking out planets can net you these things. For this mission, I actually had just gone to the planet and after cleaning out the warehouse/facility, the message onscreen explained the situation and said i should go back to the citadel and let the asari know she didn't have a problem anymore.

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
So what's everyones favorite battle tactic(s)???
Whenever possible, I like to spread out my team by sending my two squadmates to one side of the room/map, while I go to the other side. This tactic does a good job of confusing the enemy because when they have to worry about fire coming from two different directions, they spend less time shooting at you and more time trying to find cover.Last edited by DLaren; 12-02-2007, 10:24 PM.

Send my teammates to one side and go the other direction. If I don't direct my team in time, I just take the side they don't. I've found that a lot of the time one guy will run full steam into the enemy while another takes cover. At first it caused a lot of deaths for me but that's because I was too cautious. I started taking action once I saw this and used it to my advantage by surrounding the enemy."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Round 1: Singularity, Sabotage, Carnage/Overkill
Round 2: Lift, Overload, Immunity
Round 3: Barrier, Marksman/Assassination(range relative), Shield Boost
At this point, they are usually dead and haven't gotten an attack off, but if there are stragglers, I'll keep the defense up and use Throw with Liara to keep them off of the offensive. Using this method, I've got a loooong way to go before I get that 150 First Aid achievement, lol.Comment

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
How long is it suppose to take to get through the game? I played through KotOR three times and I think it took between 20-30 (maybe 40) hours to get through. I would like to pick this game up after Christmas before school starts back up, but I don't want to be in the middle and then have to put it down for school work.

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Well I guess I can officially admit that I'm addicted to this game. Just spent the last 4-5 hours doing missions and sidequest and looking for some armor that I like
I've been a pretty cool guy, real helpful to everyone in all aspects, but on my next play through I'm gonna be a badass, just killing anybody I can and not giving a ****..
..And it might just be me but I'm sensing a whole lot of sexual tension in this game. Ashley needs to give up them drawz.Last edited by eDotd; 12-03-2007, 01:21 AM.

Re: Mass Effect Discussion
Yo this game stole my sleep for a week.. 7 straight mornings of playing until 6, 7, 8 .... damn i got class at 10, gotta try and squeeze out an hour of sleep. Crazy thing is i already beat it once, and that was with all but two (one due to glitch) side missions and level 50 Nemesis shepard. Now i'm an infiltrator and getting ran by side missions i breezed through as a Nemesis/Vanguard. Sniper Rifle needs more power, unless you get a head shot.Comment
