    Re: No Man's Sky

I went away for two weeks and with it my excitement for NMS and Madden died. Just bad timing for both.

NMS is a digital purchase though so I'll have it forever and I do hope it'll continue to improve. I enjoyed the game for what it was but did find myself not looking forward to constantly needing to replenish my suit and gather resources.

If there was a sandbox version where I could explore with no limitations or need to keep my suit in check, I'd be more relaxed during my explorations.

Lots of games coming so NMS will be my Sunday morning, just want to chill game as I suspected it would be.

Will be interesting to see where they go from here. Do they continue to develop it and complete it like they had advertised or just let it go and work on something else. Could be a completely (and better) game if given time to continue to improve it.

Pretty unfortunate that both Hello Games and Sean Murray's twitter accounts have been silent for almost a month. I get why Sean isn't saying anything, but you'd think Hello Games would be interacting a little bit.

What's to say? They basically ripped everyone off and took the money and ran.

@ODogg- yeah...it's a damn fine ride when doing so.....but only for so long.

And it sure seems like this was a bait and switch if there is no continued development and content added. It literally took me 8-10 hours to do everything the game had to offer. It is the "prettiest side mission" in video game history as the Game Informer review put it.

This is a once in a while chill session for me moving forward as it is like doing laundry at this point.

                Rinse and repeat.

Again so much potential to expand the game and add content. But I am losing hope that will ever happen with this going on a month long radio silence from the game developer.

Wow, it is always an eye opener when I see something laid out visually like that.

I've said a lot about how I feel regarding Murray/HG and this game's.....everything. At this point I guess I still have to give them the benefit of the doubt but if a month from now I haven't heard anything new regarding content additions or further major patches/updates, then at that point I will feel comfortable saying I officially got duped.

As someone else said, I almost feel like this game would be more fun if it was literally just exploration and some aspects of the survival (suit, life support, shields). From the get go I hated not being able to freely take off and have to refuel every 4 launches. I commend them for trying to add "a game" on top of the base engine mechanics but I feel "the game" just fell flat in many ways.

I also can't help but feel like out of the 18,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 planets only about 12 of them actually feel unique. I remember being in love with exploring caves early in the game and then I realized every cave was exactly the same

Even if they find a way to fine them, I don't even think they'll be able to find them.

I read the most they can do is tell them to remove the ads.
