Good question...I personally have no experience with that, so I unfortunately don't know...

Hopefully someone else can weigh in...

@KingV2k3 & JoshC1977

What are your sack numbers looking like over the course of the season?

From what I recall....As 'confidence' rises in your players after wins....the sack numbers have the potential to get out of hand b/c your defensive line becomes beastlike after wins!

I'm inching closer and closer to taking a risk and picking this up again! Ahhhh....the Madden team was SO close this year if not for this sack rid-onk-ulousness! LOL!

I have a pretty beastly front four with MIN and over the course of the four to five seasons I've played, my DT's are now both 90+ and my DE's are 85+, with an overall defensive rating of 88...

Confidence has been maxed for most of my players for a couple seasons now...

Interestingly, I still lose some tight games and my sack totals haven't become unreasonably inflated...

As the years play out, the other teams max out their confidence for many players as well, so it's not as unbalanced as it would seem...

They also build better OL's as the years go by...while CPU QB ratings / AWR / Confidence go up...

Re: Last try. Recommend me a slider that you are not top 3 in sacks.

I've been PM-ing with Josh about various AM slider theory and it's inspired me to mess with my set some more...

As usual, EVERYTHING I tried set things into "reverse" except for this:

HUM / CPU

CTH 50 / 50

I also raised DPI back up to 99...

What's good about it?

1) Both QBs can go "over the top" and just pass more effectively overall

2) CPU QB is "smarter" in the pocket (even less sacks, more bailouts), but is also more of a "gunslinger"...more deep shots / less checkdowns...

3) CPU run game got unintended, but appreciate "boost" in overall effectiveness

4) For some reason, the return game opened up for both sides

It's a close to a "game changer" as I've encountered...

I've gone back to the "drawing board" more times than I can count with this set, but always end up back at the "original recipe"...

THIS is an adjustment I'm pretty certain I'll be sticking with...

The "genesis" was a desire to put HUM receivers "on par" with the CPU PCV at 50 I've been using...

Interestingly, the "benefits" were many...it even changes the playcalling for the CPU O and D and makes the HUM "Suggestions" slightly different as well...

Enjoy!

I have vacillated back-and-forth between 98/99 and 99/99 for DPI/OPI for a while. There are some benefits with 98/99....but I have liked 99/99 as well...especially for deep passes....I'd been considering plugging that back into my current set....this just sold me

(Note: wait till you get a LEGIT speed threat with this set-up...I used this on another set with Buffalo for a while and Marquis Goodwin was amazing due to his blazing speed....why I ever switched-out....I cannot tell you)

Interesting find here....especially since you have seen that CPU O and D playcalling has been affected in a positive way as well! Can you please share the actual slider set you are now using with this recent epipheny!

Auto-subs still don't work in CFM?

Started up a CFM with the Raiders. Reset my profile so I have the AP/AM/AM setup ... We will see how things go.
