I am using the Mariners as well. Still in the last week of Spring Training. Shaping up to be a fun season.

I am having a fun time with them. I manually edited players around the league within my season to match the last SDS update so Winker isn't 99 contact vs rhp and France is much better. Struggling to stay above .500 but that it feels pretty realistic for the team. Look forward to see how you do with them.

Check out my daily scorecards via my Instagram page and Twitter @TheCapstodian. I use this app called iScore. It's awesome. Right now, toward the end of Spring Training I am having a debate over keeping Brash or Emerson Hancock to fill the #5 spot. Also got a solid battle to keep Lewis up or start him at Triple A.

As crazy as it might sound, but I am on zero social media apps or I would. I just had Brash make his first start replacing the injured Flexen. The team for sure has options for position players and pitchers which is nice.

Good deal. Yes there are a lot of different options with this team. They are deep in the MiLB and have great potential if managed correctly.

                2022 Arizona Cardinals 05/19-05/22

Overall Record 32-16 (1st NL West)

Diamondbacks split wild series with Cubs 2-2

The four game series between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago Cubs had had a little bit of everything. Game one was a low scoring affair which saw both teams get an average amount of hits but fail to push much across the plate. The Diamondbacks couldnt score until the ninth inning when Christian Walker hit a single with two outs to make the score 2-1 which is where it would stay as Chicago took game one.

Game two was an offensive onslaught by Arizona with Ketel Marte hitting two homeruns while Jordan Luplow, Carson Kelly and Buddy Kennedy each having one of their own. The homers led to a 10-1 victory for Arizona.

Game three was another low scoring game as both teams failed to score in nine innings. Madison Bumgarner collected a rare ten inning complete game shutout victory as Arizona's absurd seven runs in the top of the 10th gave the team the victory.

Game four started off well enough for Arizona as with a hit by Wilmer Difo and two walks the tables were set for David Peralta to hit a first inning grand slam giving the D-Backs the early lead. Merrill Kelly was off however and quickly allowed Chicago to get those four runs back. His 4.0 IP was one of the shortest outings for a Arizona starter this season.

Corbin Martin came into the game and pitched great, striking out eight to include five in a row in just four innings of work but in the ninth, his one mistake led to a Yan Gomes HR to give the Cubs a 5-4 lead and eventually, the win.

The Diamondbacks will now return home for a two game series against the Royals (24-22).

                Game 1
                Chicago-2
                Arizona-1

                Game 2

                Chicago-1

                Game 3
                Arizona-7
                Chicago-0

                Game 4

The Rangers just lost a 16 inning game 3-2 against the Angels. My bullpen is completely shot which sucks cuz we are at game 2 of a 16 game set before a day off.

I sit atop the NL East at 12-10. Just lost Swanson for the year with a torn ACL. Saw Chad Pinder on the trade block and was able to ship some prospects Oakland's way to reunite Pinder and Olson. We'll see if he is the solution at SS for the remainder of the year. At the very least he is a very solid utility player to have around.

Cardinals sweep Blue Jays in mini two game series

The Cardinals (57-47) swept the Blue Jays in Toronto in a mid week mini two game series. The sweep now puts the Cardinals and Brewers in a tie atop the NL Central Division.

Both games the Cardinals had to come from behind. The series opener Tuesday night saw TJ Zeuch take the mound against his former club and Zeuch struggled. He gave up 6 runs on 11 hits over just 3 innings of work. He left the game trailing 6-1. Thankfully the bats pulled the Cards back in as they scored 4 in the Top of the 5th to cut the lead to 6-5. The Blue Jays would get a run back in the bottom half thanks to Reese McGuire RBI double to make it 7-5. The Cardinals would take the lead in the 7th when Nolan Arenado hit his 2nd homerun of the game, a 2 run blast to left center to give the Cards an 8-7 lead. But the Jays weren't done as newly acquired Michael Chavis hit a two run bomb in the bottom of the 8th to make it 9-8. The Cards bats had one more surge as in the 9th, Tyler O'Neill hit a ball that may have left Canada to put the Cards on top 10-9. Giovanny Gallegos would get the save as he got thru Vlad Jr, Springer and Guirrel.

On Wednesday, the Cards came back again but in less exciting fashion. Trailing 4-2 going into the 7th, the Cards would explode for 10 runs with back to back to back homeruns from O'Neill, Dickerson and Lars Nootbar which tallied 5 of the runs. The Cards wouldn't be threatened again winning 12-4 over the Jays.

The Cardinals are off on Thursday as they travel to Washington for a 3 game weekend series with the Nationals as they close out the month of July.

                              Seattle Mariners Franchise

Third time is a charm and hopefully last time as I am really happy with the rosters now.

Mariners will go into the season with playoff aspirations. A mix of young and veteran talent the Mariners hope they can push for a playoff spot.

                              Opening Day Roster

SP- Logan Gilbert, Robbie Ray, Marco Gonzales, Chris Flexen, Nick Margevicius

RP- Diego Castillo, Drew Steckenrider, Casey Sadley, Sergio Romo, Erik Swanson, Anthony Misiewicz, Andrew Munoz

                              CP- Paul Sewald

IF- Tom Murphy, Cal Raleigh, Luis Torrens, Ty France, Dylan Moore, Adam Frazier, Eugenio Suarez, Abraham Toro, JP Crawford

OF- Jesse Winkler, Jarred Kelenic, Kyle Lewis, Mitch Haniger

Players of note down on the farm

SP- Emerson Hancock & George Kirby- Both will start the season down in AA but high expectations that they could be up in 2023 to make an immediate impact.

C- Harry Ford- Ford will also start in AA, He is the future but could be two years away yet

IF- Evan White- Once a top prospect the Mariners have not given up on White just yet and at 25 years of age still can contribute soon

SS- Noelvi Marte- Big plans for Marte in the future. He will start at AA but he could be up as soon as he is ready

OF- Julio Rodriguez- The only reason he did not start this season with the big club as they want him getting AB every day. He will be up if anyone falters.

This is awesome. I am a few spring training games away from opening day and have some decisions to make myself when it comes to roster, especially the #5 spot in the rotation. Once I complete it post my roster. Enjoy this from an app I use.
