AA has generally been pretty good with the drafting so it's not THAT surprising that he pulled off what looks to be on paper some very good moves.

Yeah, he's shown he's quite adept in the field of drafting. Nice to see he still has that.

Brett Lawrie will start at 2nd base today versus the Orioles.

Don't have the time to watch the game today, but anyone know how he's doing over at second?

I haven't been paying a ton of attention but I'm pretty sure Lawrie's only caught a pop up or two.

I thought the Jays were going to bring Lawrie up when he was hitting well. I had heard he struck out 7 of his last 9 ABs at triple A when he was called up. Seems almost like this is a showcase kind of move to trade Lawrie.

Anywho, nice to see the offense step up and hey, a 2nd straight solid start by Redmond!

He had wOBA'd .184/.570/.436/.287 throughout the minors.

Nice to see the Jays players being honest about the massively disappointing season so far. Edwin Encarnacion basically said the biggest problem is the starting pitching. Let's hope all this frank talk leads to some results. I'd at least like to see some semi-meaningful baseball down the stretch.

Hopefully I manage to get giveaway for the game I'm going to. Unless game gets over 40,000 people or something, I should be able to get it since I'm gonna probably get there an hour before game starts(though I miss the days when I was able to go to games like 90-120 mins before game started, and even watch This Week in Baseball on the jumbotron before the game started lol)

Any advice on which gate I should enter from to have the best chance of getting the giveaway? Should I go to a gate that'll be busy like Gate 9,10,11 since they might have more(but more people would be there too) or try a less used gate like Gate 13(less people, but could mean less of the item there too)?

Go to the gates like gate 11, I think. Whichever one is when you go left around the stadium from gate 5 past the box offices, it matches up with section 128. Always get give aways from there.

Whatever you do: STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM GATE 5.

I'd think anything from gate 5-9 would be bad to go to.

I was thinking gate 10-11,but isn't that usually the area they have pregame stuff(I'm not going on a saturday but still...)? So lots of fans would enter from there wouldn't they?

Yeah but if you get there early enough no one will be going in yet.

You could go in at the fanpass gate, where everyone has a Fan Pass (like me) goes in, but I'm not *sure* how well that would work. If you walk from Union station, it's probably where you'll end up, but the gate # escapes me atm.

Can't wait for Delgado stuff tomorrow!

                            King Carlos is back!

Still hate how Jays let him go. Sure,it freed up some extra money for us, but still!

Don't blame the Jays letting Carlos go was more of a JP Ricciardi thing than anything else. I believe if Ash was still the GM he'd find a way to keep him.

Gonna play my favorite CD tomorrow for sure!

In what must be good luck from Majingir and I going to the game, Melky Cabrera has been activated will be in the lineup tomorrow/this afternoon and a corresponding roster move, likely involving the bullpen, is yet to be announced.
