I love Brandon Jennings but he's nowhere near the talent Irving is and seriously Williams??? Only reason anyone knows his name is because of what he did in the tournament this year. Anyone seen his stats from last year? Not impressive at all. That's why he plays on the West Coast.

Not saying Williams is going to be like Griffin, but there are some similarities. Both are a little small to play the 4, but their athleticism and motor make up for it in Griffin's case and might make up for it in Williams'. Griffin elevated Oklahoma to a #1 or #2 seed, while Williams took Arizona on a surprisingly deep tournament run. Griffin is definitely more athletic and stronger as well, but Williams also has a much better shot. I thought Griffin was going to be a bust in the NBA, but I didn't recognize how hard he works and Williams certainly works his *** off on the court as well.
I think the likelihood of Milwaukee actually trading Jennings is pretty slim to none, but Cleveland could do a lot worse than Jennings and Williams.NFL: Bills

Update regarding the Jennings thing:
According to ESPN Insider, John Hammond says that the Bucks would demand that Cleveland take on Salmons, Maggette, or Gooden. I think that's a no-go for Cleveland lolNFL: Bills

Williams was one of the most productive and efficient offensive players in the country last year. Defense might be a different story, but there is no doubt in my mind that he can score and rebound.Fan of....

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
NBA you have to create your own shot a lot. How can you create your own shot when you dribble off your own foot when you go to put it on the floor? Maybe not to that extent but he has terrible handles. He'll be a good player for other teams but I just don't want him coming to Cleveland. I'd like the Cavs to take a field general point guard (Irving) a solid big man (Kanter) and a guy that can score at will (Jones/Barnes in the next draft). I don't think Williams is anywhere near the type of scorer that Jones and Barnes are.Comment

Re: 2011 NBA Draft Discussion Thread
I think he has better handles than he does footwork lol. With his athleticism, I don't think he really needs handles to be effective. Blake Griffin isn't that good of a ball handler either but he makes up for it because he has solid footwork and average enough handles that he can keep it together when he does some of his moves to get past people.
I don't know I guess I just think Williams is just too one dimensional and will get shut down when he goes against the bigger guys in the NBA. Perk looked pretty bad this year playing for OKC but if you put Perk on him, he shuts down Williams 80% of the time and forces him to give it up.
I just want Cleveland to get someone more dynamic on offense for their scorer.Comment
