Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
True story, a few years back she was driving through Upstate NY and called into a radio show that my brother's friend worked for. They ended up hitting it off and she came back to town months later to watch him and my brother's beer league hockey team play a game and went out with them afterwards.NFL: Bills

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
Yeah reading that again, I shouldn’t be surprised.
Could also be a way of keeping pressure off Lonzo so he doesn’t feel like he *has* to come back next season, which is what I would lean towards.

Yeah I stayed up to watch the presser last night. AK said they were going into the offseason operating as of Lonzo wouldn’t be back next year. If he comes back great, but they don’t expect him.
I just want them to file for the DPE at this point though. It’s looking like my man is about to play just 25 or so games of that 4 year deal

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
It feels like Morey is trying to use Harris's huge expiring deal as a way to get over on other teams.
I don't understand it for either party. Only thing that make sense for Phoenix is to use Harris's expiring deal to help clear the books a little next year. But, they'll still likely be a 2nd apron team next year as well even with Harris's $40M coming off the books. For Philly, it'll likely be a three team deal to get off Harris's contract anyway. But. I don't know if having to find a third team to take on Ayton and give Philly assets back is going to give them a quality deal.
The Suns, Cavs, or Jazz would almost have to be a three team deal since none of them have high enough salaried guys who the teams are willing to trade. I wouldn't mind a Pistons deal that included Bogdanovic and Burks. Or doing a three team deal that includes Washington sending over Delon Wright.
It's also funny that Harris's Dad-Agent said on a podcast that they turned down a $80M deal from the Clippers and told them that they wanted $35M per, Philly was dumb enough to do it smh. They really chose Harris and Horford that summer, and I believe that was the year they traded Bridges from Zhaore Smith.Comment

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
When I was in a 2K league back in the day. People would send some really stupid trade requests. I'd purposely ignore them if it was stupid lol. I start getting messages from them like.

Bey would be the simple add to match salaries, but Raptors now have no use for a backup SF with GD here, so Bey would be almost the 3rd string SF.
Probably Johnson and Matthews would fit Raptors needs more.Comment

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
Timberwolves center Naz Reid has agreed on a new three-year, $42 million deal with a player option, his agents Sean Kennedy and Jeff Schwartz of @excelbasketball tell ESPN. Undrafted out of LSU, Reid had his best season with 11.5 points and 4.9 rebounds."Comment

Re: 2023 Offseason Thread
That's a lot of money tied into KAT, Gobert, and Reid. I think Conley has a $25M player option and I believe Anthony Edwards will likely get extended soon .
Wolves will be an expensive team very soon. Wouldn't be surprised if KAT is traded this offseasonComment
