OMG! Have I been away too long!

You are still at it for many, many moons.

Your teams over the years always seem to bounce back after a loss like the last one so I wouldn't be surprised if it happens again.
If you can read this, thank a teacher. If you can read this in english, thank a soldier.

Welcome back, Don! Yeah, I am still plugging away. CH 2K8 is the only console game I play these days, but it still gets its use!

I need to catch up on your legacy. Been a bit busy lately. USF is tough, though!

I actually played my first game in awhile last night, and my new laptop should be coming early this week (hopefully Monday), so maybe I'll get to do an update if time permits. I am going out of town March 5th-13th, though.

I've finally done it haha. It took me about a month of off and on reading but I have finally gone through all 300 pages and I am now caught up!!! You have had an excellent career so far and it's been an absolute blast following along. You have set the bar very high when it comes to posting college hoops legacies, and I can only hope to be half as good as this bro. You have the Mountaineers playing at an extremely high level, congrats on the 3 national championships, and I can't wait to follow the rest of the way. We are only halfway there!!

Good to hear! You've got a good one going as well, which I need to catch up on! You used to post NCAA legacies over at Madden Mania, right? Man, that's been a long time ago now!

Anyways, I am back in town and my new laptop is here, plus I have secured a job after graduation, so I should have a lot more time on my hands now. And March Madness is upon us in real life, so I should be rolling out some updates soon (maybe tonight?).

                      Morgantown, WV
                      December 11th, 2030

After suffering their first loss of the season in Lubbock four days ago, No. 5 West Virginia (7-1) bounced back in a big way this evening as they curbstomped the Kentucky Wildcats (7-3), 101-55. West Virginia led 41-27 at halftime and put the game away early in the second half as they scored 60 points in the second period alone en route to 101 points in both halves combined.

Theron Dux was the leading scorer for West Virginia as he poured in four three-pointers and scored a career-high 17 points. Fred Joiner added 16 points while Predrag Gabler and Myron DeLeon added 13 points and 10 points, respectively. O.J. Palmer just missed out on a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds. Willie Gomes also did masterful work from off the bench with 12 points, 14 rebounds, and six assists while fellow bench mate Monwell Weaver scored 12 points.

Sophomore guard Chad Locklier led Kentucky in scoring with eight points and five rebounds as no Wildcat scored in double-figures.

The Wildcats had a dreadful night offensively as they shot just 21/62 (34%) overall and 5/22 (23%) from beyond the arc. West Virginia, meanwhile, was on fire from the field throughout, especially from beyond the three-point line, where they connected on 16 of their 27 attempts (59%).

Next up for West Virginia is a home game against the Butler Bulldogs on Saturday.

Damn bro, I can't wait until I have that kind of talent on my team's roster. So much depth, great way to bounce back from the season's lone loss.

It is fun, though at times there's almost too much talent, haha. It makes the losses really sting, especially when they're against opponents that are fairly inferior in talent (to be fair, Texas Tech is pretty close talent-wise to my team, though).

No. 5 West Virginia (8-1) won its second consecutive game in convincing fashion this evening as they dismantled Butler (5-4), 81-58. West Virginia led by 16 points at the halftime break and pulled away in the second half for another easy victory, their second such victory this week.

West Virginia held a decisive advantage on the glass tonight as they outrebounded Butler 40-18. This helped the Mountaineers to overcome a bit of sloppy play on the offensive end as they turned the basketball over to the Bulldogs 15 times tonight.

Freshman seven-footer Willie Gomes led the way for the Mountaineers with 20 points and seven rebounds as he shot a strong 8/9 from the field. Fred Joiner also scored 20 points while freshman Myron DeLeon totaled 17 points and six rebounds, hitting five three-pointers. O.J. Palmer also notched a double-double with 12 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, and four blocks.

Noel Badu scored 14 points to lead Butler in scoring. Hosea Sims added 10 points and six assists while Laurence Konate totaled 10 points and six rebounds.

Next up for WVU is a big game against rival No. 13 Virginia Tech at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown, WV next Thursday.
