Sure glad your team plays better then the real life team. I also thought of you well I watched UNC Wilmington try and pull off the upset over Duke.

I did not manage to sign anyone during the early signing period, but I do have a 5* PF (#1 overall/#1 position), 5* PG (#7 overall/#3 position), and a 4* C (#57 overall/#1 position) basically locked up and I have a decent shot at nabbing another 5* PG (#6 overall/#2 position), as well. I have four scholarships to play with this year.

The 5* PF is the #1 player in the country, so I might finally be able to sign the top-ranked player in a recruiting class, which is one of the final legacy goals I have not gotten (the legacy goals are added to your coach's ability, as you might know).

If I do manage to sign the #1 player in the country, the only ones I will have left are:

      - Coach a Player of the Year Winner
      - Coach a 2k Sports Award Winner
      - Get a lifetime contract with any team
      - Accumulate 800 career wins
      - Accumulate 900 career wins.

As I understand it, I should get a lifetime contract with WVU when my contract comes up for renewal next.

The career wins achievement is only a matter of time, assuming this legacy doesn't end before then (hopefully not!).

However, it's going to be very tough to ever get a Player of the Year Winner. I just don't tend to play that way where one player dominates, but who knows what the future might hold, I suppose?

Damn that looks like a phenomenal class. I hope they all decide to play for coach Frizzell, could be a special team.

Where can you go to find what achievements you still have left, and which you have completed?

If you get that recruiting class, it would be insane.

Yeah, it looks like it could be a really good one. Of course, I shouldn't count my chickens before they hatch as some other schools could catch up, but it looks good for now.

I do not have the game in front of me now as I am not at home, but I believe you go to the coach profile and then use the RB/LB button to move over to the coaching goals pane, where it shows all of the achievements and which ones you have accomplished.

So, for me right now, I have achieved the following goals:

                December 19th, 2030

No. 4 West Virginia (9-1) won its third consecutive game this evening as O.J. Palmer carried his Mountaineers past rival Virginia Tech, 92-76.

The Hokies (7-2) kept the game close for the first half, but the Mountaineers began to pull away in the second period, especially as WVU center O.J. Palmer started to assert himself. The seven-footer poured in 26 points, nine rebounds, four steals, and four blocks tonight and proved to be a force that the Hokies simply could not counter throughout the game.

Fellow Mountaineer Predrag Gabler added 13 points, four assists, and four steals while Myron DeLeon scored 12 points. Fred Joiner scored 10 points in just 14 minutes of action as he was in horrendous foul trouble throughout the game, and fouled out early in the second half. Backup point guard Theron Dux came on in relief of Joiner and played well as he tallied 11 points and four assists in a career-high 27 minutes of action.

Sophomore guard Berry Djordjevic scored 21 points to lead Virginia Tech in scoring. Torin Lovelace added 14 points and five rebounds while center Shawne McNaughton totaled 12 points and seven boards.

The most critical statistic this evening was turnovers, which largely accounted for the difference in the two teams' performances. Virginia Tech shot well from the field (50%), but turned the basketball over 20 times. West Virginia only turned the ball over eight times this evening. In the end, the turnover disparity was just too much for the lackadaisical Hokies to overcome.

Next up for West Virginia is a game against another Virginia school as WVU will travel to Charlottesville, VA to take on the undefeated 11-0 No. 8 Virginia Cavaliers in what should prove to be a highly competitive early-season affair.

                  #4 West Virginia (10-1) vs. #8 Virginia (11-1)
                  John Paul Jones Arena
                  Charlottesville, VA
                  December 21st, 2030

Tonight, two top 10 teams clashed, and one team saw its hopes of an undefeated season dashed as No. 4 West Virginia (10-1) clawed its way to a 71-62 victory over the Virginia Cavaliers (11-1) in Charlottesville, ending Virginia's undefeated bid at 11 games. Virginia and West Virginia last met in this past season's National Semifinal game, a game in which the Mountaineers also came away victorious with a 65-56 victory on their way to their third national championship of the Frizzell era.

West Virginia played a methodical game tonight, only turning the basketball over four times. It was not the best of nights shooting the basketball for West Virginia, and some of the team's best players did not have particularly good outings, but the Mountaineers limited their own mistakes and made the Cavaliers pay for theirs.

The Mountaineers were a force defensively, especially in the second half. The Mountaineers also locked down the paint and let Virginia know it with nine shot blocks, including three by freshman seven-foot power forward Willie Gomes.

Gomes stepped up big tonight for West Virginia as he played one of his best games of his young career in what was probably the biggest game of his career. On a night in which O.J. Palmer could scarcely do anything right, he stepped in and delivered a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds to go along with his three blocks. Palmer only shot 2/9 from the floor and 4/8 from the free throw line. Ethan Augustin also stepped up a bit and delivered one of his best performances of the season as he was effective in the low post on offense, scoring 10 points in 24 minutes.

Fred Joiner also totaled 15 points for the Mountaineers while backup point guard Theron Dux added 11 points and three assists, his second consecutive game scoring in double-digits.

Bobbye Callahan scored a game-high 19 points for Virginia. Mike Carroll added 16 points and freshman guard Calum Nabors came off the bench to score 10 points of his own.

"I am very pleased with this team's performance tonight," beamed WVU head coach James Frizzell after his team's nine-point victory. "We did not have the best night in certain aspects, but we really stepped up when we needed to, and our defensive performance in the second half was really, really great. To go into Charlottesville and win against a team of Virginia's caliber is nothing to sneeze at, and this is definitely our highest quality win of the season."

West Virginia has a week off before hosting Wright State on December 28th after the Christmas holiday.

Excellent couple of wins right there, you're putting together a fantastic resume. Way to show Virginia who rules the state.

Maybe I'm interrupting this wrong, but you are aware that West Virginia and Virginia are two separate states, correct?

LOL, don't worry about it... I've seen that mistake many times, haha.

As a side note, I did realize that I forgot to schedule WVU's sole in-state Division I adversary, Marshall University, this year, although as the series is apparently not scheduled to continue after this season in real life, I guess that's okay. I lucked out there... I forgot to slot them in, and then they don't renew the series in real life, either!
