Wow this is a pleasant surprise! I've been playing NCAA 14 but have been tempted to continue my St. John's/SMU dynasty especially since I have a capture card to get pictures. For now I'll hold off from dusting it off and live my CH2k dreams vicariously through you.

Yeah, I was definitely a bit rusty, which certainly didn't help, although Villanova is a solid team in their own right.

Haha, yeah this game is definitely a bit dated at this point, especially when it comes to gameplay (the legacy mode is as good as any out there, though), but I keep on coming back to it. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to stomach it after getting an Xbox One a few months ago, but it was fine.

I haven't played NCAA 14 in a long while. I have Madden 17 for the Xbox One, but I've hard some frustrations with some aspects of the gameplay, though I recall some gameplay aspects of NCAA 14 bothering me, as well.

No. 2 West Virginia (17-3, 6-1) got back on track this evening on the road as they defeated Rutgers (10-6, 3-4) 90-75 this Saturday in Piscataway, NJ.

West Virginia was not particularly impressive, but maintained a solid lead throughout. O.J. Palmer was the leading man for the Mountaineers as he scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead all players in both categories. Myron DeLeon also had a great game, scoring 19 points, while Fred Joiner added 12. Theron Dux also came off the bench to score 13 points as he made four of his six attempts from beyond the three-point arc.

West Virginia was impressive on the glass, where they outrebounded Rutgers 32-19. The Mountaineers were also on fire from beyond the arc as they shot over 50 percent (13/25) from three-point range collectively.

Junior forward Zach Peterson led Rutgers in scoring with 19 points and senior guard Evan McCalebb added 15 points. Anand Shropshire also added 12 points and six boards while Al Flowers totaled 10 points and eight rebounds.

Next up for West Virginia is a home game against Notre Dame on Wednesday. The Fighting Irish are 4-3 in Big East Conference play, but have lost their last two conference games.

Yep, it helped that Palmer had a great game, too. He's been pretty disappointing this year after I had very high hopes for his senior season this year.

Myron DeLeon has also been impressive lately. He got off to a rough start to this season, but the freshman has been hitting his shots in conference play. I love small forwards that can hit the three ball. He has a really quick release, too, quite similar to Wendell Lalugba way back in my Princeton days (the first great player I ever had in this legacy, hailing from New Bedford, MA if I recall correctly). DeLeon is not at Armondo Whechel's level (yet, anyways), but he's been good!

I'll have a statistics update shortly, as well.

Dang, I haven't played with Lalugba since way back in the summer of 2008 (real life time), I believe. I was 16 then. Time flies.

Do you edit incoming player names at all? I haven't gotten to play 2k8 in quite awhile but I do remember it having a great variety of names pop up and thats no different from your roster. Kind of a random thing to point out but definitely adds a sense of realism for me.

No, I have never edited names in this legacy or anything else on my players, for that matter. There's definitely some odd names that pop up, haha.
