Suggestions? Since it's mITX I'm fairly limited I'm sure. Even w/ it being delidded, etc, you think I'll run into thermal throttling? I don't plan on OC'ing (if it's even possible).

I used the AR06 in my previous build and it was good, and I've heard nothing but good things about the Shuriken.

Also I run a reference vega 56 in my node 202 and the temps are good. Wont get much of an overclock but a little above stock its fine.

There it is on PCPartPicker. Says should only pull 424W, so the PSU should be alright w/ it. Also, I may have listed the wrong fan. It says its compatible, and has great reviews from what I've seen. Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. It's been a few years since I've built a desktop. I may look at getting an All in One water cooler for the CPU. I'm going to give the Noctua a go first though, and see how temps are on it. From all indications, after being Delidded and pasted with Conductonaut, it's supposed to stay pretty cool under full load.

Any reason why you're going H370 with an 8086k? I'd go z370 for overclocking, if you're going to run stock it's not too big of a difference from 8700 non k to 8086k and running stock shouldn't demand a high end cooler.

Yeah, I just can't get by with a big case. I'll be playing in the bedroom, so minimal is what I need. I saw a sweet full size case I loved, but not happening.

And the mobo, I won't be OCing. I got the 8086k for $130 off, so it was cheaper than the 8700k.

Man, I just saw an article titled "Intel 9th gen chip prices leak" from pcmag, the subtitle says they're much cheaper than expected... The rumored price is around $550. I'm like, what were they expecting?

I think I'm sold on the 8700k. It seems like games haven't maxed it out to begin with so I won't be behind, can give myself a little breathing room for the future, and save a bunch of money.

But 8 cores/16 threads vs 8 cores/8 threads vs 6 cores/12 threads... AHHH!

this a little bit off topic. but is about the game. my game is setup to the default graphic setting, and playing a slightly chopping, likely because my video is lacking has its built into the motherboard, and I've seen the requirements i meat everything else need byoyed the min specs, so i I've been out of following changes parts for awhile, so could some suggest at least a couple video cards that will meet the game needs.

Need a lot more information than that to suggest. Need Computer specs, Game your targeting, etc.

He’s referring to Madden. Post your specs so we can recommend if a new one will even work.

You might need whole new build if CPU can’t handle the new cards.
