Oh God.

At the briefing, the slide shows that they were speaking about a PS3 online shop where you can buy and download content and games and load them from your HDD.


And for the guy that can't read:
You can buy content by paying monthly subscription OR buying seperately (if you don't plan on buying/downloading alot every month) OR micropayment (whatever that means). You don't do all three at the same time.

Geez all I did was repeat what was on the slide. Is this not a PS3 information thread? That's why I posted it.

You know what I noticed 10 years ago when working for EBgames, people just don't like to read. It's a shame, but it happens.

Teamxbox sources say the 60GB HDD will be standard.

we checked with a few sources in the U.S. and Europe and we can now confirm that the PlayStation 3 will include a 60GB hard drive right out of the box. In addition, there will be bigger hard drives available for users to purchase.

Now in noticing the route that Sony went with the HDD, I wonder just what is passing through M$ mind. All the complaining and stuff about how they didn't stick to their original signature which kind of sucks. On another note, I'm still impressed by the move that Sony made. So does this kind of eliminate the notion of having another SKU??

all you have done is look for post that you can take shots at Sony with. The whole, "Sony said it would be released in the spring in US so they are now in a 6 month delay statement comes to mind"

uhm how am i taking shots at sony. i was just tellin the dood that said "way to go for sony to squash those delay rumors" or something, that it is delayed. see guys like you who are crazy fanboy's turn me away from products such as ps3 or xbox360, or ea games. all these biased views and ignorant comments and defenses of products you back up as if they were your mother, make me go the way of the underdog, such as 2k sports over EA or maybe even microsoft over sony.... one reason i also want to see hd-dvd do well over bluray is because of fanboys who have no idea what this technology brings or even if it has any real advantages at the moment. i was pretty optimistic and looking forward to ps3 but all their lame anouncements and all the fanboys who praise the heavens that sony announced a global launch in november have soured my taste...... now im just in a wait and see mode for ps3, not excited for it at all......

(and am I the only one dissapointed in a global nov. launch? i wanted to see this thing in action in spring just like sony promised)

They never promised anything. They said it would release in Spring but it was delayed for Japan. THat's not a promise. Games get delayed a lot. Just take a look at your "underdog" 2KSPORTS, they've delayed games a lot this past year.

I believe it's $50 down, not to positive though.
