I'm starting to learn how to make my own poison potions so I can start using those in conjunction with my sneak bow attack.

For healing I typically just use a heal spell. I think I only leveled up my magicka to 130 or so. I typically don't use it.
Gotcha...I think that's what I'm going to do as well. Just max out Archery and roll with it. I like Sneak, but I'm not sure whether or not I want to do the muffled footsteps, armor noise, roll, etc tree. Like you I have everything down the other one.

I need to use potions more the poisons could make things a lot better. I either 1 shot guys while stealthed or it's a good bow battle while not stealthed...Poison could help me with the tougher guys.

        LMAO!!
Ok since the beginning I've been just traveling and doing occasional quests...(60+ hours in)
Well I JUST realized I have 10 dragon souls and never used them to unlock shouts. Was wondering why the shouts I learned were not available... and never seen the "Unlock" under them...
        doh!!!

I'm now using the new Inventory Mod
            Spoiler

There's a couple known issues with it that is being worked on:
            Known Issues:
            1. In Alchemy before you select anything the Item Name is "undefined". Low Priority
            2. In Enchantment selected Item doesn't match the one in the List. Top Priority

Can't wait for the actual mod kit to get released!

I'm so mad you can't redistribute your skill points. On accident, I went down the light armor Smithing path as opposed to the heavy armor. Which sucks, because while I don't really like the Daedric armor, I want the Daedric great sword. Oh well I guess.

Also, am I the only person who see's little point in adding stamina?

I've done a little, but mostly doing health since magicka doesn't help me a lot (I don't cast many spells).

Adding stamina also increases carry weight. I like my power attacks too so I do see a point of adding to stamina.

I only do Health and Stamina. Stamina is HUGE for the way I play, using the power attacks, and the "slashing" nature of my Sword & Board guy. Can't tell you how many times that I run out of stamina, and my attacks are basically worthless until I can use a stamina potion or get lucky and get a critical hit due to timing.

                        I'm a stealth archer/dagger guy.

Question on dual wield, do you hit both LT and RT (or R2 and L2 on PS3) for a sneak dual attack? I'm trying to figure it out and I'm only getting the 30% bonus. That's been fine for all the guys so far, but want to understand how to best dual wield more.

Also, I've only been using magic to heal myself, and haven't leveled up Magicka at all...is it worth it to do so (as well as trying to use some new spells) or should I focus on Archery, Sneak, and 1 handed for my perks?

I haven't put any points in 1 handed yet, but that's next at some point (want to get Sneak higher, and the Archery ones as well since that's my primary attack.

Just looking for some interesting discussion, I'd like to learn how best to lay my guy out....
My character has the same build as your's and I've been running into some difficulty recently because I'm not exactly the best stealth player in terms of being able to clear out a whole cave or area by just sneak dagger attacks. The ranged stealth bow method works best for me but right now I just use a standard elven bow equipped with whatever arrows I have at the time. The problem is even with the 3x modifier, I have difficulty taking off significant amounts of health from higher leveled opponents.

When my cover is blown against a couple enemies I'm at a loss because my arrow damage isn't that high as my archery skill is only at 56. However, I think I'm going to start creating more poisons with alchemy and the related perks to deal that much more damage with my bow. And also smith a few daggers and then refine them as my available weaponry is pretty dull right now.

A quick question about skills and it relates to weapons. For instance, right now I have an elven bow. Assuming I don't refine it at all through smithing or enchant, will it gain potency as I increase my archery skill without selecting any perks. I guess I'm asking is there some sort of damage modifier that increases as you increase your archery skill?

Stamina helps a ton on shield bashing too.

For my character I go stamina more than anything else. I like having deep pockets when I'm chain dungeon running and traveling. I can sprint/roll forever, which is cool because I like to keep fast travel to a minimum. Nothing but power attacks if someone gets close to me.

I'm at about 400 stamina, 310 health and 100 Magicka, I never use magic.
