Yep. Anyone? I haven't seen any but I don't use the bow that much.

Also I finally got rid of the ceremonial sword and axe. I've been carrying them around since almost the beginning of the game and almost level 40 now. Good riddance. I figured I would eventually run into wherever there use was but it never happened. So I just decided to Google it as they were taking up too much weight.

As far as I know, there aren't any special bow animations like the ones you see with melee weapons. I have used the bow almost exclusively and at level 70 archery have never once seen a special kill.

Would have been cool to have some VATS-like kills with the bow.

Yeah there are none with the bow or magic. Sucks...

I actually created a two hand Orc so I could see the animations. Picking off people with a bow just got repetitive.

Yeah some kill shots like fallout or an 'arrow cam' would have been an awesome addition imo...

Haha, for some reason all those animations just feel rewarding. Especially if you're in some difficult fight. Or those times where some low ranked/equipped fool runs up to you for an attack. Boom!

Sucks with the bow and magic. They could have done a number of things. Next time.

It's fun enough, and it's not really bad, but it's not something that sticks out and it's certainly no reason to get the game. If you're looking for an RPG with great combat in mind, this isn't the game for you. It's still fun, though.
It would be great if the combat was like Dead Island's one.

I beat the main quest last night. I finished it at 70 hours, leveled to 36, while also completing all Thieves Guild quests and fully restoring the Guild. I've done a couple Companion and Dark Brotherhood quests as well, and cleared quite a few dungeons. So now I'm free to do whatever I guess, so I'll join back up with the Dark Brotherhood and do their quests while finally moving out of Whiterun to set up residence some where else. I have about 20k on me, maybe I'll earn a little more and move to Solitude. I guess while I'm there I can start the Civil War storyline, I didn't do anything with it other than join the Imperial Army.

I just wish I knew exactly what it was. In danger of losing all my saves. I downloaded the beta today and everything was fine. I started up this evening and to test a mod, and when I loaded up I was in th emiddle of a "place book on bookshelf" action. I thought it was weird, especially because I was in the general store. I tried walking outside to whiterun and the game crashed to the desktop. Okay, no biggie, tried again, same thing.

I tried different saves, and they all load up fine. The problem starts when I try to go through a door, particularly outside to Whiterun. If all I need to do is reinstall skyrim and all my mods I'll be happy.

                      Edit: Phew, figured it out!

                        Two things:

                        1) The thing I really want in a next gen console is "awareness" and a true living world. Case in point:

                        2) I was bored, so again, in Solitude, I visit the Bard's College, after that fellow Sven in the first town pointed me that way. I then:

I wasted 2 hours on the Wolfskull Cave and Ruins. I was able to clear the place, but then was unable to find a way out and died.

I was fighting a dragon and then out of no where another dragon appeared and then a friggin troll. It didn't end well. Part of me doesn't even want to do the main quest. I kind of just like roaming and doing the side missions.

Mysha (my high elf mage) is still in Riverwood. For some reason, I get a wondering, Kung Fu Legend Continues vibe while playing with her, so that's what I'm gonna do. She's gonna be a boss mage and just travel around helping out people and laying down major law punishment to all the baddies.

I'm already loving the perks for the magic skill set. Half magika for restoration and destruction. Plus, its cool that you can still wear bracers with mage robes. I guess tonight I'll clear out the bounty I got for Silver Moon Camp, clear out the mine south of Riverwood, and head towards Whiterun.
