Been having a lot of fun with my 32 team Titans CFM but now in the last week of preseason and looking through all the other 31 teams depth charts it's kinda hard not to be bummed a little. Just about every team is missing at least one backup player for the O-line. I know I can go in and change it but I would think the the CPU knows the minimum number of players a position needs. Is this happening to anyone else?

year 2 opening game away:

23-6 win for Falcons

changes I made to OP. tried no accel clock, 12 min qrts. there was time of day changes . 51 block in back slider. All kicking simmed. 2 missed fgs in game by chiefs.

0-1 Cardinals next. I lost matt Ryan mid 2nd qrt in 1st game. Renfree held is own with simple passes.

Year 2 - week 2 :

Falcons 37 Cardinals 41

Barkley hits 71 yard pass to win on last play of game to win at home. uggggh. I stuffed the run in this game. pass another story. Cardinals had this TE named Charles that killed me.

thoughts with my first 2 games:

All settings in OP except trying 12 min qrt no accel clock.

1. play counts look good
2. noticed differences in subs, coleman getting good amount of touches now.
3. able to make more pre snap adjustments
4. time of day changes better. late afternoon game ended at night and under lights
5. stats still solid

wish someone else would help test this, all the same settings in OP except 12 min qrt with no accel clock.

Wow. Who would have thought that acc clock would affect the time of day stuff. To be honest I kind of forgot that was even a thing in this game lol. So with 12 min no acc clock you are getting good play counts? Do you tend to take your time calling plays with the snap coming with 10ish seconds left on the play clock or do you pick your play and snap it quickly? I tend to pick the play, read the D, and then snap. Very rarely do I hot route or audible. Just want to get an idea on how you do it because I'd like to have the added atmosphere. Plus who knows, maybe this does have an affect on subs. Maybe acc clock jacks that up to. I wouldn't be surprised. I would imagine that most of us sim gamers who actually care about auto subs probably use acc clock because we want that 15 min qtr experience. So maybe that is why we can never dial in auto subs. Just a thought.

Well 1st 2 games play counts were good. I tend to snap ball 15-25 seconds depending on how long I take to pick plays, which now plenty of time to decide. This is just 2 game sample, if others help and try out a well we could make sure. Definitely auto subs are different with no accel. maybe to much now. haha. Coleman has gotten significantly more snaps with these settings. noticed dline subbing more as well. time of day is just a nice immersion factor, by no means a game changer. If you ran hurry up, I do not, you could have too many plays probably. We could always adjust up a minute or down a minute if needed. Need more game results. Ill post stats from 1st 2 games tonight.

Into year 3 of my Giants franchise now, and these sliders (with an extremely slight tweaking based on my user preference) have made every game (regardless of opposing team OVR) feel difficult to win, and easy to lose if I don't try hard enough or make careless mistakes. That being said, my experience has been that weak CPU teams/QBs will make more mistakes or not present as much of a challenge consistently like the good teams do, which makes these sliders a magnificent blend of challenging and realistic
