I'm 5-3 now. Lost Michael Thomas and Brandin Cooks and have lost 2 in a row since. These receivers drop too many passes and then I keep getting picked off on the tip balls. I could put Brandon Cooks on IR and he'd probably still be Best WR. He's in 1st place for OPOY right now.

He should be back week 17, and Thomas week 16.

Running game is still a muddy mess, but Ingram did get a huge run.

So we went 10-6 and didn't make the playoffs. Forgot to make tables and stuff. Playing in only 8 games, Brandin Cooks had 1,200 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns, but didn't win Best WR yet alone OPOY. C'mon man!

My draft. I didn't use the scouting tool this go round. Felt it made things way too easy.

I either wanted to draft LB and CB or rebuild my OL and get a fast HB. Well the draft class wasn't very stout in CB and all of the good LB's were early 1st rounders and I don't trade up, so I went for OL. Didn't get the HB I wanted though. Should of traded the 7th away as I had no prospects I liked but this guy was in the top 5 of like 5 combine workouts, so I figured I could focus him in training and build his attributes.

Round 1 Pick 20: C Bryan Reilly 75 OVR

Round 2 Pick 20: Traded to Cleveland Browns for 5th round pick and 2018 2nd and 6th round picks.

Round 3 Pick 13: Traded to Chicago Bears for a 5th round pick and 2018 2nd round pick.

So it seems like a typical Saints draft with hardly any starters, but that's okay. We have 11 picks for next year, with 3 2nd round picks.

So turns out I'm a terrible owner and can't re-sign any players or get free agency interest because I can't offer signing bonuses, and I'm also going to be fired unless I can make $28M next season. So I will be starting over.

Don't think I can replay the season again as the Saints. Any suggestions for a team to take over as a new coach? I'm not into the Browns/49ers trade for 10 1st round picks type of "rebuilding" stuff that goes on in the CFM threads.

Yeah, probably a good idea. But, splice, I do appreciate you giving the time to provide a full season of data. Imo, it further supports my feeling that no changes are needed to the op.

When I first stumbled on these, I sent a pm to Tdawg to ask for his help. The title of that pm was, "I'm smiling."

I'm still smiling when I play these...because of the most important stat of all, fun factor. I enjoy these a ton...and I'm happy that you and others are too.
