The injury thing may be user’s preference, but I’ve liked what I’ve seen with 24. Some games there’s hardly any injuries, the next game there’s 6 where only one player misses significant time. Seems very random, like real life. Love the injury banner, too.
Ok I’ve had a chance to do a little testing of the injury slider when simming, I didn’t pay attention to anything else other than the injuries. I tested from 50 increasing by 1 each time up to 55, and using Tommy’s slider set on the OP each time to keep the variables exactly the same.

I’ve only had time to test each level twice over the course of 3 preseason games each time (only 3 games each time to see a true reflection before roster cuts).

Injuries are a personal preference but this is what I found, the amount of injury are across all 32 teams over the 3 game period. At the end of the first tests I decided to also track the amount of season ending injuries I saw as well.

At 50 - injuries were low, too low for me only 27 and then 22 across all 32 teams

51 - saw 48 then 46 injuries across all teams, also saw 3 season ending injuries and 2 of 15 weeks in the 2nd test ran.

52 - had 55 then 58 across all teams and just 4 season ending ones.

53 - was 78 then 66 across all teams, with 6 season ending ones.

54 - had 86 then 104 injuries across all teams with 11 season ending ones in the second test.

55 - had 126 then 135 across all 32 teams with 11 season ending ones in first test and only 6 in the second.

I also broke down the amount of injuries by each team for each level in the 2nd tests with the injury slider from 51 up to 55.

These are what I found:

Slider level 51
Injuries - teams
0 - 7
1 - 13
2 - 5
3 - 5
4 - 2

Slider at 52
Injuries - teams
0 - 7
1 - 10
2 - 6
3 - 2
4 - 6
5 - 0
6 - 1

Slider 53
Injuries - teams
0 - 3
1 - 10
2 - 8
3 - 7
4 - 2
5 - 0
6 - 2

Slider 54
Injuries - teams
0 - 0
1 - 5
2 - 6
3 - 4
4 - 11
5 - 5
6 - 1

Slider 55
Injuries - teams
0 - 0
1 - 1
2 - 3
3 - 8
4 - 4
5 - 11
6 - 3
7 - 1
8 - 1

I am still liking what I am seeing when watching games with injuries at 24 and my preference when simming is either 53 or 54 right now, probably leaning towards 53 until further testing. I’m liking the amount and range of injury lengths they are producing and think they are giving the closest amo7nts of injuries to the watched games.

Injuries are all a personal preference of course, for me I just found from 50 - 52 to be a little low on the injury count and 55 a little high, although 55 is probably providing the most realistic amounts (not checked real life injury amounts to confirm this). I found that because I don’t watch more than 3 or 4 selected games per week due to time constraints, that having the slider on 55 would produce far more injuries than watching a game and having the slider on 24, therefore giving an advantage to the teams involved in the games I watch.

<<< As you can see I don't post a great deal on this blog. Been a member for years and follow the slider threads every year. This set of sliders is a real winner. I thought this game was broken but your sliders improved the cpu-cpu experience for me immensely, thank you for your effort.

Re: Madden 19 CPU vs CPU Sliders

IMO the game plays much smoother at 0 threshold with these sliders.
Just played a regular season game in year 2 with a Tom Brady-less Patriots. Mike Glennon was starting QB. Pats got whooped by the Jags 37-10. Still a bit too many sacks though, but it was better than 16+ sacks.
Before I had tried the same game at 50 threshold. Waaaay too many sacks. 16+. At one point it was 4th and 54 for Jags. And the throwing wasn't great. Each QB had 55+ pass attempts with less than half of them completed going into OT tied 30-30. I quit the game before it was recorded. The game just felt off.

Rest of the stats are looking good so far and within a couple of what Tommy said he was looking for in games.
Okay, I haven't looked at pre-season

It is a personal preference, I watch all games and have my set to 26, getting a good mix and just had a game my first game with no injuries at all.
The length of the injuries is my concern.
