lol for me he has pitched in three games his first one vs the philles was good but it just might have been the lefty heavy lineup because he has been decent but know where near good in his last two starts. Hopefully he will turn it around and I can trade myers because I don't like pitching with him much and call up Brad Bergesen but if all goes bad I will have to put scott olsen in the lineup :/

I simmed one season with the Astros and during the season got some really great offers for Myers and Carlos Lee. Phillies offered me Ibanez (last year of his contract) + a couple minor league players for Lee.

Rangers offered me Holland and Desmond Jennings (not sure how they got him) for Myers.

I didn't offer Bourn arbitration and he wouldn't sign with me during free agency no matter what I offered him.

that is the reason I traded him I would rather get something then nothing for him

Started off a 3 game series Braves vs. Phillies. I play as the Braves of course.
Both teams are in the cellar in the East. Both teams are 10 games under.500. The Braves 1GB of the Phils. I see why the Phillies are struggling, Doc Holliday is 2-3,6.00ERA and starting pitching are not good. For my Braves I cant find the gaps, HR's or RISP avg. It sucks. My pitching is great 3.04 team ERA 2nd in the ML.

I lost game 1 to Cliff Lee again, 11-2. He looked pretty good to me. I got 2 runs in the Top of 1st and that was all. I went with newly acquired K.Millwood. He was good in his return back to Philly 5 1/3IP, 4K and 3ER. Howard and Rollins hit HR's in the game.

I have face C. Lee twice, lost to him twice 12-0 and 11-2. I'm keeping note. My records falls to 11-23 9.5GB of the Marlins.

                Bounce back against the Phillies.

Medlen dominated the Phillies line-up. 7IP 5H 8k on 95 pitches. He outdueled Oswalt.
My offense ran Oswalt off after 5IP 3ER on 75 pitches.

                The offense was lead by Chipper 2 for 5 HR,2B 2RBI, Uggla 2 for 4 2B 2 RBI.
                I had 7 XBH, I also went 3 for 8 with RISP.

On to the series finale. Hudson vs. Hamels

Finally broke out of slump against Cincinnati at home in the confines of the Trop. We roughed up Homer Bailey for 4 runs in the 1st inning en route to a 9-3 victory.

Jeff Niemann secured his 10th victory of the season and is now 10-2 on the year.

Johnny Damon had a big game going 3-5 with 2 2B's. Evan Longoria also had a big day with 2 HRs and 5 RBIs. Everyone in the lineup recorded a hit except for BJ Upton and Casey Kotchman. Also cut down on our strikeouts with just 3 total. This coming after we had 27 combined in our two previous games.

Reid Brignac also suffered a fractured shin and is out for about 6 weeks. I brought Eliot Johnson up from Durham and he'll play with SeanRod aka Sean Rodriguez at SS. Rodriguez is more of a 2B, but, he can play SS and has done so a little IRL this season. In game though, both Johnson and Rodriguez have nearly identical range factors and fielding percentages. So, we'll play the numbers with that position till Brignac is back and healthy.

I started my Astros Franchise this morning...and I'm enjoying myself... definitely looking forward to building them back into a winner... I got a nice little unique play style that I implemented that seems to really be working wonders on my enjoyment of this game.

basically before the game starts I pick an inning to interject in... I played opening day the whole way through, then for the next games until my home opener I simmed every half inning until the 9th then if I won the game the next game I would sim every half inning until the 8th and everytime I won I would cut sim an inning shorter... I played the home opener and just won a game that I simmed until the 7th, so the next game I will sim until the 6th and keep going until Jackie Robinson Day when I play that entire game.

I got a couple of guys with hot bats out the gate... I'm pretty much using the simming to normalize statistics but Bill Hall who if I'm not mistaken isn't even an Astros anymore is playing like he knows he got released in real life and doesn't want me to do the same to him, as he's still hitting over .400... its still early but I mean man... on another note Michael Stanton put a hurting on me with 3 HR (2 simmed and 1 off me) in one game... the one off me was the eventual game winner which he hit off the freakin train tracks... I think the "Majestic" Measurement was 412 ft

Brandon Lyon isn't cutting it for me out of the bullpen so I'll definitely be looking to give some other guys in the pen a shot while keeping an eye on the minors and draft prospects... might snag one in free agency if its comes down to it... also want to get a #2 hitter (thinking about putting Hall there) so I can move Pence to the #3 hole... oh and my catcher Jason Castro is hitting out of his mind in the early going too

Marlins were boring me. So I changed up and went with the cubs. 3-3 so far. Arizona was tough for me. That said if im out of it. Im going to dump some aging Vets. I really want a LHP for the rotation. More to follow.
