Does being guarded by an AI faciltate passing the ball?
Are you aware that I was undersized at 4 even if guarded by an AI?
Are you aware that is far easier getting rebounds if your teammate 5 is an IA rather than your matchup?

And how many triple doubles you achieved in pro am?

If you're playing in a walk-on game, there's a probably 50% chance you'll either be playing a computer or your matchup will drop out at some point.

You know how many triple doubles I see? Maybe one every 2 or 3 days. It's probably harder to get one on computers actually because they steal everything.

Irregardless, the post was about the Ben Simmons-esque build being able to do Ben Simmons things..and it's clear it's doable.

Definitely just gave me more incentive to get on and try it out.

whats up with the hate guy had a good game who cares if there was a.i in the game. its 2ks fault if ppl are not able to get a full game 5v5. i think i had 2 triple double with my rebounding post scorer this year. doesnt come everyday.

If you can routinely get 10 rebounds, triple doubles are not hard to get.. It's not hard to rebound, find an open man, take advantage of bad transition D.

I am averaging a triple double in MyCareer, and there is nothing special about it


But a triple double in pro am, even more in team mode, it is not an easy task.


I was just happy for finally being able to do it, and I wanted to share it here.

If you can routinely get 10 rebounds, triple doubles are not hard to get.. It's not hard to rebound, find an open man, take advantage of bad transition D.

No, you can't routinely get 10 rebounds if you are 6'8"

That's a straight up lie unless you've got 2 7'3s on your team and play 3-2 zone like every other cheese team, and since it's playing you at power forward, you don't have 2 7'3s on your team. 6'8 can easily average 8 a game without even trying really.

The rebounds are always what get me. I came into 2k18 TRYING to average close to a trip dub in walk on because the last month of 2k17 i seriously averaged around 17 12 and 8. I was spamming alley oops ALOT and made sure to always play with a slasher. I’m not that easy this year because the alley pop mechanics are harder.



This year i play about 90% of my walk on games with randoms and i would not say its easy at all. Only one game all year have i had a team actively try to help me get a triple double. Like bigs let me get the boards and everything. All games consists of me earning my teams trust so they let me bring it up. If I’m not allowed to run PG the assists become very hard. The best way to do it just like i said last year was to be a center and make sure you rack up 5-6 assists in the first quarter. On my Ben Simmons guy i try to attack the boards first because i can get the points and assists very easily.



Averaging a trip dub in MyCareer is easy but getting one in walk on is difficult. You have to get lucky one to get a team that can hit shots and 2 you have to touch the ball a lot. Not an accomplishment I’d just diminish no matter the circumstances
