I had the initial inclination to make a 6ft5 Playmaking Shot-creator or 6ft6 Sharpshooting Playmaker but now I'm preoccupied with this fascination towards a Shot - Creating Sharpshooter.. I'm just not sold on the height.. I was leaning on 6ft6 at PG..

I'll appreciate any input yall have on this build.

I been using YouTube for references but still not sold on how effective I will personally be with this build compared to the Sharp-Maker or Play-Creator. The Playmaker builds will be better passers and will be able to speed boost but I figure by mixing Shot - Creating with Sharp I will be like a pure Sharp with the ability to freelance off the dribble, ideally a wrecking ball from behind the arc but still have ability to finish at the rim comfortably.

Was watching old videos of my LDD and athletic finisher in 2k17 and man I realized I was having more fun. These dual archetypes almost feel even more limiting to me. Wish we could get any badge bronze again. It felt more like MYPLAYER. Probably would hurt online balance .

Facts 2k17 was more like my player. Was fun too.

The archetype system has always stunk but my most fun was probably 2k16 post break starter patch

I had a Kawhi-type LDD and maaaaaan. There was a period of months where I only brought him out to the Park before my Sharpshooter or my Glass Cleaner. Ended up spending most of my time with my GC, but that LDD was a beast defensively and even offensively when needed.

I considered making one this year but when I realized that I couldn't get Corner Specialist I decided against it. Defending builds are pretty much useless offensively now.

Anybody with Intel know at what overall you unlock 82 driving dunk for contact dunks for a SG or SF between 6ft4 and 6ft8 for Slashing Defender (Primary)?

I found out its at 91 overall which I'd incredibly disappointing that regardless of height they are giving you the same cap for this build. Between 6ft1 and 6ft10 you seem to have to hit 91 overall to unlock contact dunks. [emoji19]

Finally caved and got my PS plus back on. Played some park earlier, we dominated with the first line up.

I was on my playmaking slasher 6'4, speed boosting with gold posterizer is fun. Boosting 3 ball and still only hit like 1/6 3s tho WITH base 9.

6'10 rebounding athletic PF 95 OVR. My guy I run with a lot.

And his buddy 6'10 sharp shooting slasher SF.

They weren't hitting a lot of shots either, but we were still winning.

I went and got my point forward, and we proceeded to go on a very easy 9 game streak.

Felt good to be back with my buddies, career was killing me. Lol

But man, I can have tons of fun on that slasher PG but I can't BUY a bucket outside. It really hinders the fun.
