          Yep, we've definitely been sputtering a bit down the stretch, so I'm not super optimistic that we can live up to the persistent high expectations we have for the NCAA Tournament, but we'll see!!!

                  Yes, 11/12 ACC teams made the NCAA Tournament. The ACC has been a powerhouse all legacy, but this is just something else!!

                        I can’t find anything older. But apparently in 2011 the Big East had 11 teams make the big dance and that is a record still today. So in this world, that 11 mark is probably a record too. Crazy stuff

                          Yeah, as a WVU fan I remember that. Still, the Big East in real life in 2011 did it with 16 teams whereas the ACC sun this case did it with 12 teams, which makes it even wilder!!

                              NCAA Tournament - First Round

                              West Virginia (28-5) breezed to a 93-55 victory this afternoon over the VMI Keydets (16-16) to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

                              Collin Northern scored 29 points and Demetric Guerrero tallied an 11-point, 14-rebound double-double, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Keydets from getting blown out.

                              Felipe Delgado scored 19 points and added nine rebounds and four assists to lead West Virginia in scoring. Belton Mombollet also added 19 points and seven rebounds and Stefon Hull scored 18 points. Damon Pasco also paced the offense with 11 points and five assists.

                              Next, West Virginia will face Boston College, the No. 7 seed in the West Regional, on Thursday.
