I wonder if there’s a way you can take the entire game file from your broken Xbox and copy it over to the new one? Game patch and everything

Not sure, maybe, but I can't access anything on my current Xbox 360 at this point, anyways since it won't do anything when I boot it up besides display a red dot on the power button. The display doesn't even boot up.

In the meantime, I did play a bit of this season before my 360 died, so I will go ahead and start posting some games. I still haven’t bought another 360; I should probably get on that.

Sophomore small forward Johnny Riggs scored 17 points and hit four three-pointers in just 12 minutes of action to lead No. 3 West Virginia (1-0) to a season-opening 78-47 thumping of Stony Brook (1-2) this evening in Morgantown.

Stefon Hull scored 11 points and Morris Filipovic added 10 points.

The Mountaineers pulled away from the overmatched Seawolves early on and the game was never in doubt. The Mountaineers took especially good care of the basketball tonight, turning the ball over just six times.

Jermaine Sanders scored 11 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Stony Brook in scoring. Kris Lhota was the only other double-digit scorer with 10 points and six rebounds.

Next, West Virginia will host Texas Southern tomorrow.

Just realized it’s been over a year since my 360 broke, yikes! I’m going to look into trying to finally replace my 360 soon so I can kick on with this dynasty soon. Just didn’t expect to have to drop a couple hundred bucks for a used one, but I guess 360s in workable condition are pretty scarce these days.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased on for a little over $200. It kind of hurts to pay that much for such an "outdated" console, but I suppose the supply of these old consoles is so tight these days.

So, assuming that goes well, I may be able to restart this dynasty once again in a week or two. I am hoping I can still download the CH 2K8 patch and all that on the new console, though I have no idea if that will even download so many years later. I also have to hope that the flashdrive I have my save stored on will work!

Pretty sure the patch still downloads, as I think that's an Xbox/Microsoft Store thing, and that's still supported. Good luck!

The new console came in the mail today, so I’ll take a look tonight to see if I can recover the legacy saved on my flash drive. I should be able to, as long as the flash drive isn’t faulty.

I recovered the save, so this will be continuing! I realized I played on another 10 or so games on the save compared to what’s posted here (couldn’t remember how far along this season I’d made a save on my flash drive), so I have some catching up to do, as well.

Winless Texas Southern (0-5) gave No. 3 West Virginia (2-0) a scare this evening, though the Mountaineers escaped with a 70-57 victory.

The Tigers never led in the game after the opening minutes, but they trailed by just eight points at halftime and kept the game within striking distance throughout the second half, losing by just 13 points in the end.

Small forward Ralph Vega was a big reason why. The 6'8" senior scored 20 points to go along with eight rebounds and four assists. Shamell Locklier was the only other double-digit scorer for the Tigers with 12 points from off the bench.

Morris Filipovic scored 15 points to lead the Mountaineers in scoring. Carson Lavender tallied a 12-point, 11-rebound double-double and Belton Mombollet totaled 12 points and eight boards. Stefon Hull also scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds.

West Virginia will hit the road for the first time of the season next Wednesday to take on the New Mexico Lobos.
