Re: Coaching Legacy of James Frizzell (CH 2K8)
Congratulations on making the tournament, and proving me wrong (I had you making the NIT's at the start of the season).
Looks like you'll be playing San Francisco in the 2nd round, then if you beat them you have Cincinatti again (barring an upset) so this tournament should be interesting.
I hope we can beat Boston College, but they're pretty tough for a #11 seed.Comment

vs.
(11) Boston College (22-12) vs. (6) West Virginia (23-11)
St. Pete Times Forum
St. Petersburg, FL
March 20th, 2020
The West Virginia Mountaineers (23-11) defeated the Boston College Eagles (22-12) 72-65 this afternoon to move on to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, where they will face up against Coach Frizzell's old team, the San Francisco Dons, who defeated Arkansas-Pine Pluff 74-57 earlier this afternoon.
Boston College played well early on and led 34-32 at halftime. It was a very close game that came down to the final minutes, but then sharpshooter Justino Whitworth took over, hitting four threes in five possessions to give the Mountaineers a nine-point lead as the clock kept on ticking. Whitworth would end with 15 points.
West Virginia would hold on to win 72-65. Boston College outclasses the Mountaineers at shooting the basketball, but West Virginia had huge advantages in their favor in rebounding and free throws, which was key to the victory.
In addition to Whitworth's heroics, Marquel Proffitt and Marqus Coulter also had fantastic games, with both tallying double-doubles as they combined for 28 points and 20 rebounds.
West Virginia will face #3-seeded San Francisco (29-6) on Sunday afternoon.

Re: Coaching Legacy of James Frizzell (CH 2K8)
Wow your playing San Fransisco after leaving them earlier. You must really know that team pretty well. Did your assistant take over there, or did they get a big hire? Because if your assistant is there, he will play a very similar style of basketball to what you do.I will always, always be a Jets fan. But trust me it hurts.Comment

Congrats to Sienna, Washington and Wisconsin for pulling off the upsets..
I didn't get my votes in earlier but I predict UCLA,Marquette,UConn and WVU in the Final 4. With UCLA pulling the upset over the Big East and adding another Title to the trophey case.Comment

He used to be the head coach at Mississippi from 1998-2006. He currently is the head coach at Georgia State in real life.
And congratulations, Deuce, for post #1,000 of this thread and congratulations to me for making the 1,000th reply!
