Nice undefeated start to the season, even if you've been playing cupcake teams It's still impressive. Keep it up!Comment

**** I'm late to the party. At least I only missed the first few games. Glad this is up and going again James. I have noticed you have slowly dwindled down your number of attempted three pointers this year. Change in style or just taking what the personnel is giving you?Golf: Bubba

Re: Coaching Legacy of James Frizzell (CH 2K8)
I haven't consciously changed my style, but sometimes it just depends on whether the defense is playing zone or how hot my shooters are. In addition, I do have two legitimate low-post scorers this year (Proffitt and Forney) and I try to get them the ball more, I suppose, which cuts down on my attempts from beyond the arc.
Back in the day in my early years of virtual coaching with Princeton, I shot a ton of threes since I didn't really get a legitimate low-post threat until Cassiand Swift.
In other news, I'm thinking about making Forney a starter at power forward in place of DeShaun Chatman, who hasn't done much for me this year.Last edited by superjames1992; 11-18-2010, 04:24 PM.Comment

Kinda OT so I spoilered it.

Man I remember how big it was when you added Swift and really started dominating. I can't remember though was he the guy that left early or was he the guy that continued to dominate one you left Princeton?
Yeah Forney has played well so far. I also noticed Whitworth continues to under-perform from outside. We're starting to get into bust area with him at this point I'm thinking. I will be interested to see how the team reacts to playing in a pressure situation. How is the Big East looking as a whole team rating wise?Last edited by Amoo316; 11-18-2010, 07:05 AM.Golf: Bubba

Hey I read the over the past couple days this thread on the 2k website forum so I was wondering what has been going on for Frizzel since after that first season in San Francisco?
And superjames you've done a really good job at keeping the reader entertained. I got really into it while reading it to see what happened next! keep it up!“If you’re true to yourself, you’re going to be true to everyone else.”Comment

Spoiler
You know it's really funny how basketball works itself out. I've been playing some games with different teams in 2k11 as I plan to start a 29 game season franchise similar to this. Currently I'm down to choosing between rebuilding the Nets or the TWolves. In my play through with the TWolves I traded away basically everybody but Beasley (and Flynn) and decided to build around him. Set my playbooks and everything to feed my offense through Beas and go from there. Well after only 3 games I have learned that Beasley is absolutely a defensive liability and inconsistent scorer causing me to need to rethink my entire strategy.

Thanks for the kind words! It's kind of hard to believe it's lasted this long for me, as well, considering I am notorious for firing up dynasties then going nowhere with them, yet I've kept this one going off-and-on for almost three years now. CH 2K8's legacy mode is just so good and so in depth that it keeps you going.

Thanks for following along, everyone. Now that Christmas Break is here, I need to start rolling with this again. I'm going to England on December 31st, so I've got about 10 days to get some games in. I'm starting to get that college basketball itch again as conferfence play looms in January!Comment

Sorry about no updates to this, but with Christmas and family and all that, things got kind of busy.
I'll try to get some updates in over the next few days before I leave for England on December 31st.Comment

Okay, I lied. I got caught off in stuff and never got around to playing. I will get an update in this weekend, though! Maybe tonight. I essentially have a four-day weekend due to MLK Day plus the fact that I don't have any classes on Friday.Comment

Re: Coaching Legacy of James Frizzell (CH 2K8)
Good to see you are still planning on getting this back up and running. I purchased a new 360 for Christmas, and now I have to find a transfer kit to get my Fab 5 dynasty off my old harddrive before I can get it up and running again. Until then I am totally addicated to playing NCAA 11 Football and having a blast. But love having a solid basketball dynasty to read at work to help pass the time.
By the way
How was England.Comment
