Thanks for the kind words. I actually have NC State Orientation tomorrow.

One thing that sucks is that the roster file that I am using screwed up NC State's name so that when I am playing as them they are simply referred to as the "Home Team" or as the "Away Team". This means that I likely won't be able to use them in dynasty since that would irk me to no end.

As you all can probably tell, this legacy is on hold for a bit. It's football time now, I guess, and basketball has gotten out of season. However, this will surely make a comeback this fall/winter!

I still need to post the result of my Sweet Sixteen game, although the result of that game isn't exactly motivating me to post it (hint, hint!).

That's cool you're going to NC State. Have any idea what you will major in yet? Also, I'll still be around I'm sure to check out your updates this fall and winter once you start playing College Hoops again.

Awesome bro...I hope living in a dorm wont derail youre great updates on this legacy! I know I hope I can still play my NCAA 11 and College Hoops a lot while I'm attending UNC.

My major is meteorology, which puts me in the College of Physical and Mathematic Sciences at NC State.

Judging by the last couple years, this legacy usually gets rolling again in December and January.

Yeah, I'm not too sure how that's going to go. I have my class schedule already and I think I should be able to get some gaming in (particularly during the day), but I've got a roommate, so I can't just fire up the 360 anytime I want, necessarily. I have a total of one class on Friday (meanwhile, my Monday schedule has morning classes, a four-hour break, then classes all the way until 8:30).

Good luck at the coaching home of the late Jimmy Valvano.

I liked studying about meteorology during my oceanography class in high school many moons ago. I went to college at what is now a division III sports school, Johnson & Wales University, in Providence, RI. Unfortunately, by the time they entered and developed a sports program, I had already graduated. We did have an intramural sports program and I played baseball & basketball, sorta. After a couple of baseball games, the baseball club disbanded due to lack of transportation available to us. The school wouldn't let us use one of their busses. I pitched two innings and threw a knuckleball. My basketball team ended up playing games at night and I had already started my duckpin bowling leagues. While at practice, I shot free throws like HOFer Rick Barry. We had a practice where we couldn't leave the free throw line until we made two free throws and then we would rotate around the lane. I wasn't at the line too long because I made 10 of 11 (90.9%) during that practice. I was also 8 of 18 (44.4%) from what is now 3-point range. (No, that wasn't underhand, like the free throws)

And by all means, please get this going again. In the meantime, if the readers aren't too bored, they can read mine since I have fired it back up.

I guessing that it is just in hibernation until college basketball season begins in about a month and a half.

Haha, underhand free throws. But you have to do what works and if you make 10 of 11, then that's what works, I guess!

Underhand three-pointers could work, I suppose, but you better be wide open because that's going to get blocked if anyone's within 10 feet of you.

Yeah, it's not dead. I'd suppose that this gets fired up against around Christmas Break (mid-December until the first week of January). I don't think I've turned on my Xbox 360 in like two months now since it's at home and I'm at my dorm (except on the weekends sometimes).

It's unlikely. The roster file I used for my dynasty makes it so that a few team's names do not show up and NC State is one of them. For example, in the broadcast NC State will always be referred to as the home or away team by the commentary crew, as opposed to NC State or the Wolfpack. While this isn't necessarily a game-killer and I won't rule out going there someday, it would irritate me to no end.

Just wanted to say that this is an amazing dynasty. I just spent my afternoon reading through all of this... excellent stuff. It's kind of disappointing that you never posted the last game though.

Either way, congrats on an impressive legacy so far. Can't wait to see you start this back up soon!

Yeah, I'll try to get the Sweet Sixteen matchup posted this weekend if I get around to it. I don't know if I'll have much of a recap since it's been so long since the game was played, but I'll at least have the box score and those goodies.

I'm not even going to try to write a recap as I really don't remember anything about this game (I played this game sometime in May, I think). The only thing I do remember is that we lost.
