I'm coming to the conclusion that I'm a nerd. I'm actually checking this site a few times a day just to read all of your stories. I'm one of the few guys that asks about others games at the "water cooler" and I actually want to hear what happened....

                  P.S. keep them coming

And make sure you exit out the back door, and not re-trace your steps and leave out the front again. Maybe that's it. I have no idea what your path was, sorry.

I saw a bit of mage talk with armors, doesn't armors affect your magic power negatively? If so, is it a huge difference or is it worth tossing on some armor with the slightly less damage? I'm currently running around in clothes playing on Master difficulty, which definitely makes the game better in my opinion. I used to walk through everything including dragons on adept, but now I have to play wisely as my character only has about 150 life and just clothes on. If I get hit a few times, I'm looking at death.

As far as I know, Heavy Armor doesn't hurt your magicka, but since all of the +regen bonuses are on clothes, that's the benefit.

There's nothing stopping you from disenchanting a few pieces of clothing and then placing a bunch of +magicka regen enchantments on your suit of plate mail, though.

I swear that's how it was in Oblivion, I could just have been imagining things. I may just end up going light armor to get some protection and keep some mobility.

I like the disenchant feature. Is there a way to make them stronger though? I've been doing the "carry weight" enchantment on my dude, so I can carry more items... but I think the max that I have the ability to do is +25 or so, pending the item that I'm enchanting. There a way to up that?

Again, I'm still fairly new to the game, so I'm not 100% certain, but I think it's tied to the Soul Gem you use to enchant it with. So a lesser soul gem would enchant one strength, while some super-majestic-awesomesauce-soul gem would give you a stronger enchantment.

I haven't really messed with it outside of the basic soul gems I've found up to level 20, so I don't have a ton of experience with it yet.

Disenchanting learns you the basic enchantment no matter how strong the initial enchantment is.

Then, just like with every other skill, your rating in Enchanting is what determines the strength of the the enchantment on the item you create. Also, perks you take in the enchanting tree make them stronger as well.

Edit: TCrouch, great point about the soul gems too. The soul also determines the max strength of an enchantment. When enchanting weapons there is a slider that allows you to make the enchantment stronger but at the cost of less charges. The bigger the soul the more charges the weapon carries.
