Re: JoshC1977s M15 Set

6.01

Raiders (me): 25
Patriots: 17

D. Carr: 26/52, 291yds, 2td, 2int
T. Brady: 19/30, 230yds, 2td, 2int
M. Garoppolo: 1/5, 12yds, 1int

G. Atkinson: 26att, 99yds, 3.8avg
S. Vereen: 12att, 39yds, 3.2avg

I played pure man coverage for about 3 quarters until I switched to zone, which once I switched to that started more-often-than-not having the CPU standing around in the pocket not throwing because of the zones (which caused 2 sacks, one that injured Brady for 2 drives and another in which Brady fumbled, where I scored and went ahead 25-17)

As long as you don't run the same plays over and over, you should have some fun with it.

As for settings/sliders. I still recommend setting the following (as stated in my OP):

  1. Set all settings in the main menu exactly how they will be in the CFM (including autosubs).
  2. Go to CFM and set all game settings and autosubs
  3. Go to slider screen and use the triangle button (on PS4) to import the sliders
Cheers. Will try this out

Oh, I also dropped cpu INT to 30, but thats just because i throw a few too many "panic passes" under pressure...

Re: JoshC1977s M15 Set

After some discussion with awffltony77 via PM and looking at posts here, I took on board some of the ideas floating around and went back to 6.0 sliders 3-rating for CPU Pass Block (instead of 8 that had been playing with after talking to awffltony77), put CPU run block to 20 instead of 15 at awffltony77's suggestion and dropped ints (both human and cpu to 30) ... what followed was the best game of Madden I've ever had and I'm sticking with those.

Against Ravens, won 24-23 on a last second TD after driving down the field with passing game (words never thought I would say).

Flacco went 100.9 186 yards for 1 TD, 14 of 23 and 3 sacks (one last play of game and every one a CPU controlled).

They ran all over me at times, Pierce at 6.6, 199 yards off 18 attempts. Flacco even ran one in for 9 when he saw zone

My rushing attacks was lower than usual- 23 attempts 78 yards at 3.4 for Murray and 19 off 4 for McFadden.

My passing game was the revelation: Carr went 36 of 48 for 343 (7.1 ypa, so not ridiculous) and 1 TD and McGloin... the hero... the legend... went 4 for 4 and game winning TD when Carr went down.

These sliders freaking rule. Josh, awffltony, you guys are my heroes

Re: JoshC1977s M15 Set

Yeah, second game confirms:

Took on Denver, won a close 27-23. Decided to run, run, run to keep Manning off field. He only threw 25 passes yet finished 248 yards and 2 TDs for a 105.1 rating before taking 2 sacks (CPU not me) on final drive before throwing an INT on forth down (very Manning).

I went 15 of 22 for 113 and 2 cheeky goalline TDs (lost my rookie superstar TE for nine weeks... I want to cry)
but ran for 144 with Murray on 30 carries, 4.8 average and then McFadden came in on 12 carries for 99 yards.

Definitely no more slider messing from me as I could have EASILY lost either of the last two games, but these sliders make me play smarter, picking my own plays. THIS is how Madden should be as default, why it takes a whole community of guys on here to figure this out, I'll never know.

Interesting changes. I really love the idea of the run block slider increase (and the INT...as I too have some 'issues' and frankly think the CPU is a bit too aggressive going after passes). I'll likely consider these changes for an update. Not sure about the threshold change, what are you seeing different?
