Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Okay here's what I have saved. There were an updated red set, after the tuner but before the revamp. I may have tweaked fumbles and definitely special teams when the newer red sets came out but the rest were posted after a few hours of work from flazko. He posted these with the tuner installed:

Hum/cpu
Qb acc 5/5
Pass block 40/42
Catch 45/45
Run block 45/55
Fumbles 55/55
Reaction time 5/5
Ints 40/40
Coverage 82/82
Tackling 60/60
Fg power 50
Fg acc 35
Punt power 45
Punt acc 95
Kickoff power 60

I was wrong before but they're fairly close to default. For me they play great. I'm going to play a few games now and really watch for robo qbs and I'll post my results.

I play these on normal speed. 15min/15 run off. 65 fatigue. 35 injuries. I find offense to be easier on normal and defense to be much more challenging. At the time flazko suggested normal speed for this and the red set previous to this one. I used 90 parity then moved to 100. I like 100 better but I think 90 is a bit tougher. Everything else is op. And as always big thanks to flazko. I'm just glad I didn't save over this set like I usually do.

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Well year 2 is even worse haha.
3-10 browns. Losing 9 straight after starting 3-1. 30th ranked on offense and 16th defense ( don't know how) I did play the Ravens, packers, colts, Bengals, Steelers, Jaguars and Vikings. Which all happened to be having a good year or decent. I had a rough year as you can see. Doesn't help Coleman went down for 8 weeks and duke Johnson for 4. So it was rough. I been sacked a total of 42 times. Had a high turnover rate, and lowest scoring team. But my defense is 74 overall so I expected this. I got three more games on the year to close it out and I hope year 3 can be a big improvement! This is rough haha.

Been using the purple set with tuner and a mixture of my personal tweaks to it. been great! Thanks flaz for the sliders. Been having a blast

Okay game 1 using the tuner and the old red set. My team is the steelers with geno smith as the qb and I've traded every veteran on defense with value for picks and traded most of those picks for defensive rookies. A little cheesy but keeps me interested during season 1. My team is 79 overall and is usually 84 to start.

35-18 win vs redskins. Kirk cousins was hurt and Colt McCoy had to start. And he looked like Colt McCoy not, well, any starting qb lol.
21/40 for 277 yards 1 td no picks. Easily could have had less than 200 yards but my pass rush gave him all day on a few occasions. It was a rain game, but he was all over the place. Missing guys, throw aways, out of bounds when the receiver was open on the sidelines. Definitely not a robot.
Charles sims went 19 carries for 64 yards.

Honestly I felt in the zone on offense and though the score looks good I didn't dominate.
Geno went 29/37 for 268. 4tds 1int. I had to check down all game til I finally recognized what their cover 1 looked like and got over the top twice. He only missed open receivers a few times so may have to keep an eye on that. Josh Norman made a beautiful play for the int. He was in man coverage on another receiver and I made a throw under pressure to my receiver who had beat his own man and Norman only had to go about 6 yards and made it look easy.
Running game I felt truly on point and it still wasn't easy. Leveon bell was 23/113 1 td. Holes opened and closed nicely but I may have to tweak it a bit.

Game looked almost as good as say the pink set. Pass rush was okay on both sides. 3/2 sacks. I was under pressure more than once. Coverage looked crisp. Safeties killed my routes all day that are usually wide open.

Overall I'm thrilled. Getting ready for game 2 vs bengals. I highly suggest trying flazkos previous red update I posted if you're not getting much challenge from the cpu

Awesome thanks so much for posting those sliders and sharing your results. I'm deciding now whether I'm going to go back to all-madden or if I want to stick out one more game with all-pro. My next game is week 3 vs. Pittsburgh. If I go with All-Madden, the tuner is gone and I'll use the previous version of Flazko's red set that you shared. Thanks again man, I appreciate it. I'll keep you posted on what I choose and how I make out.

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Question though FancyPantsHess, do you recommend that I delete my profile and franchise along with the tuner? I know some people do, while others say time and time again that it's purely placebo to do so. If you think about it logically, all you're doing is deleting a file (the tuner), updating settings (all-pro to all-madden) and updating sliders. Your profile and existing franchise are going to give you back what you feed it. Ultimately, I'd rather not have to wipe my profile and/or restart my chise everytime I make changes - I'd never get anywhere lol.

Last year all I did was restart, but that's because I was wayyy to anal about what I should or shouldn't have done with my roster. I guess last year I had GM OCD and this year I'm dealing with a solid case of slideritis.

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Honestly if the robotic qbs is the only problem with all madden I would just keep the tuner. I'm really bummed because I'm in game two and Andy dalton is out this time! Aj McCarron looks like he should, a few errant passes, 15/25 a few plays into the 4th quarter. The bengals game plan was pound the crap out of the ball then go play action deep so it's been really boom or bust. But he threw an int where the receiver was just sitting there and the linebacker in zone picked it easy. He's had a lot of trouble with pressure too instead of firing it out right on time or out of bounds. I have 4 sacks. He did fumble twice which is annoying and it's going to lead to a blowout win by me.

Otherwise the bengals front seven has been dominate. They have three sacks and I've been under pressure all day. Leveon bell is 15 carries/33 yards and deangelo Williams 5/12. The only thing that's worked all day is deep passes so I did gouge them for 320 yards passing so far

Keep the tuner? Are there advantages to having it? I was gonna set QB acc to 8/8 without the tuner- do you suggest that I leave QB acc at 5/5 without the tuner? I was also going to lower pass blocking to 15/15. Here's what I was going to roll with, under all-madden

QB accuracy: 8/8
Pass block: 15/15
Catch: 50/50

Run block: 55/55
Fumbles: 55/55

Reaction: 8/8
INT: 40/40
Coverage: 83/83

Tackle: 60/60

That was gonna be my starting point. Should I leave the tuner then?

Re: Flazko's True NFL Realism Sliders (Madden 17)

Just from what I know browsing around in here flazko said he was keeping the tuner on all pro because of strip sacks. I saw crappy punts, false start issues, ect with and without. In the other thread about the patch/tuner he said the main problem was qb accuracy too high for user on all pro and the cpu on all madden. After facing two backup qbs I would say so far I'm seeing really good results with the tuner on all madden but definitely qb acc at 5 for cpu. And geno smith is playing well with user acc at 5.

As for pass blocking I think you're going to want to keep it higher. Maybe lower cpu to match whatever you settle in at but there's definitely pressure.
