I don't need 6 guys to block correctly or every gap to be filled. I'll overrun plays on D or over correct with the ball to even things out some but not enough. On slow I need everything to develop just perfectly to get a 10 yard run or stop a play for no gain as opposed to being able to use my "stick skills". That's why slow is more challenging than fast for me.

I think I'm going to stick with purple on slow with 95 parity. How high would you go with cpu run blocking, pass coverage, ect if I need to tweak but still making ratings matter?
You also have to look at the other side of the coin, the cpu doesn't feel as intelligent on Slow when running the ball or making decisions. They wait too long for something to develop at times. This is where sliders have to kick in to boost the cpu.

Only if the cpu was smart enough to hit the hole quicker or make better decisions on switching field and looking for an open hole or bouncing outside on Slow it would be almost perfect.

You're definitely right there. They're basically predictable but using no switch helps.

So if I use purple set with cpu run blocking at 90 and pass coverage 95-99 will ratings still be impactful?

My honest 100% thought is.. To get true ratings you wanna stick close to 50 on a slider. I think of it as 50 is pretty much 0,anything higher is a boost which is positive and anything less than 50 is a nerf which is negative. If you leave it at 50 there's no boost nor negative affect to players. That's how I've been looking at it lately. There's a reason why default is 50. If you go higher your boosting players and if you go lower you're taking away from the player's ratings.

This is just my theory. I'm still testing and looking at stuff.
