Exactly, I don't understand how they tie such a large portion of player XP to practice but don't sim the CPU practices. This makes any user controlled teams so much better rated than CPU teams by season 2.

I don't think it was a coincidence that madden 05 may have been the best all around madden to date. They had to compete with NFL 2k5 which made them step their game up literally and figuratively.

If they dont fix the xp situation then offline franchise is basically a no go for me. Hopefully that was the first thing they worked on

They probably figure that most people don't even use the practice feature, and they're probably right. It sucks.

I wonder if when they do unveil the CFM info if there will be the same time of acknowledging past failures and continuing to build or if it'll be the same "this is the best career mode ever created" shtick it's been the last couple years.
