NBA 2K14 (Next Gen.) Official MyCAREER Thread

Love how I can have a 1st half without any turnovers.. then the second half the game forces them on me.. teammates hand the ball off to me when I'm cutting etc.. and all of a sudden I'm double teamed by my guy AND his and they knock the ball away.. nearly EVERY game this happens.. will never have a game without turnovers as a starter in Next Gen

Just a quick question before I (possibly) waste my hard earned VC... I've already started MyCareer and am at the point where the agent gives me a blingy watch (which is pretty far in I think) and I've already spent quite a lot of VC upgrading my player stats. Now I'm thinking about picking up the stat boosting accessories like the Powerweb Arm Sleeve...

Question is, can the accessories be used immediately in my current MyCareer or do I have to start a new MyCareer to use it?

You can edit accessories in your existing MyCareer.

If I'm a higher rating than the "star" guy on my team (I'm a maxed out PG) and say I don't get along with him, will I still get traded or will they trade him? Thinking about trying to go to a new team but I don't wanna ask for a trade since they never trade me to one of the three teams I suggest. I'm in my third season if it matters.

I just noticed while doing a scrimmage in My Career Mode that the play calling worked perfectly. As soon as my team in bounded the ball the circle appeared immediately for where I needed to stand to run the play. How come this never happens during actual games...

It does, off and on.

I gave up on mc mode. I've been having so much more fun in mygm mode. Basically pick your favorite team or do your own trades.. And you have so much more to do. More control of the team and you get to choose what jersey to play with. You can still edit players and all that good stuff. Sliders are available too
