I agree. A 2nd baseman who can field and get on base would be nice. Have fun in South Florida

A batter who isn't known for power, but is known for being a contact hitter.

That's been the Jays biggest problem over past number of years, never having an overall team who can hit for contact. Meaning we rely too much on home runs.

2012 for example, Jays hit .217 without home runs. AL average hit .230! Over the course of like 5000 at bats, that 13% is huge.

AL average has been between .250-.260 for past few years, and Jays have NEVER hit above .250 since 2009!

It's great to hit home runs, but when only like 10-15% of your hits are home runs, you should be hoping to get alot more regular hits.

But if Rasmus goes for someone like a 2B, then Izturis would have to go too wouldn't he(cause Bonifacio can play diff positions, regardless how well, he can still play IF and OF unlike Izturis who is just 2B,SS,3B)?

And I still think our SP is fine, there's just something off field going on that we're not hearing/seeing. Cause there's no way that all our SP have been doing poorly. I could understand if it was just like 1-2 SP struggling, but when top to bottom all SP struggle, there has to be something wrong somewhere else. Maybe Pete Walker isn't that good of a pitching coach(he was bullpen coach last year and our 2012 bullpen was known for blowing games. Now suddenly, our 2013 bullpen is average and our starting rotation is doing bad...)

I'm not sensing a 7-game winning streak unless they get a lot of offense tonight.

And Lawrie and Gibby ejected along with this terrible outing. SMH

Nolin somewhat fed to the dogs facing the Orioles.

Well we took a bite out of their donut king the day before. We have two days to make up for it. Dickey "should" be good for the win today, so we will see.

Indeed it will start again. Another poor start.

It'll be interesting to hear what really went on with Jays, once this season is over. Cause there has to be something huge going on off the field that nobody knows about.

                      KAW-ASA-KI!

What a crazy game that was. Thought Lawrie vs Gibbons I was gonna happen in the 9th. Huge win that never even should have been that close.

And AA was considering getting a replacement for Reyes. Kawasaki makes me think of the Japanese guy in Major League 2.

The Kawasaki interview was pure comedy. I still couldn't understand a word he said.

On the whole Lawrie thing I thought it was embarrassing seeing him ask why Lind didn't tag up. He must have mistaken him for Jose Reyes. I've always said it - I love his talent and competitiveness but he needs to tone it down before someone kicks his ***

20-11 is now the record we need to go to be .500 at midway point of season.

27-18 is record we can hopefully match(if not beat) from now until all star break.

Let's hope they can do this. I hope the win yesterday finally kick starts the players. Between Kawasaki's celebration and post game interview and Lawrie being put in his place by Gibby and Bautista, I'm hopeful the team pulls together.

Back to Lawrie, I was reading tweets that some asked that he be dealt which I thought was hilarious. Was he an idiot yesterday? Yes, but he knew it and his post game interview said as much.

Atlanta tonight and hopefully the momentum can continue and we can put together an Angels like winning streak
