Thinking about going to Jays game when they have the Delgado stuff in July. I don't know where to sit though. Which side of the stadium do people see his name being added to level of excellence? Will it be the LF side next to Cheek or near RF side next to Alomar?

Well, that's a positive way of thinking. I would have preferred to wait to play those teams until everyone was healthy but that's probably not going to happen.

We can barely see fourth place from the basement -- 7.5 games behind Tampa. Yikes.

Morrow to the 15 day DL.

I'm curious if anyone knows if this happens with other teams? We get a reported strain or something innocuous and are told they'll be fine within a week. I believe the same thing happened with Johnson this year, Santos last year, Lawrie in st, Morrow last year, Bautista last year, and I'm sure some other players, and it ends up being more long-term. Just frustrating.

lol, maybe our doctors/trainers just suck? Don't know if it happens that often with sports teams, but seems like every Toronto team basically has numerous injuries all year long basically every year.

For teams with some of the richest owners out there, shouldn't we be able to have some of the best doctors and trainers out there?

Probably doesn't help playing 16 innings in the midst of a west coast trip while playing at 10 est.

I can't believe we've lost this series to San Diego. I was hoping we would sweep and climb back to .500. Looks like I was overly optimistic.

It was weird watching Seattle and then Toronto play back to back series against the Padres. Seattle absolutely crushed the ball in unfriendly Petco while Toronto couldn't muster more than 3 runs.

Guess I picked a good weekend to be busy. Seriously? The Padres! I guess they don't look so bad with the Dodgers below them, another big spender doing horribly.

If season ended today, Jays end up with 4th overall pick in 2014 draft lol.

Speaking of draft...2013 draft is in a few days isn't it? Jays got 10th overall pick in it. With all the moves we did this past offseason, time to start restocking our minor league system.

If the Jays get swept by the Padres i'll be one very angry person.

I guess the Jays turned into the 2013 Marlins

He's 40. Honestly, he should probably never have been out there. He lived in the minors last year. He had a good first 2 starts, but he hasn't been much after that and was just taxing the bullpen. Hope he recovers, but he never should have been on the mound (or in a Blue Jays uniform, IMO). He lived in the minors as well for 08-09 and for the better part of 10-11. Surely we have someone else in AA or AAA that could give us 5 innings a start and go from there.
