I can't believe this has lasted this long. That was one great recruiting class. Just thought I would let you know that Finn has developed an editor for the PS2 version of 2k5 which now means the PS2 version has the same capabilities of the Xbox version.

I can't believe how long it has lasted either. We are coming up on six months now, which is a record for me.

Well, I own the Xbox version anyways. What was the PS2 missing that the Xbox had?

I thought you had a PS2 last gen. You were not able to update the rosters but Finn figured it out and now you can. I was just letting you know since I thought you had the PS2 version. I have both but never bought an xport and I like the PS2 controller better than the Xbox controller so now I can play it on PS2.

I've always had the Xbox. I always liked the Xbox better, though I did miss some of the exclusives that were only on the PS2 (like MLB: The Show).

Princeton Blows Out Boise State in Season Opener

                          11/3 @ Boise State

                          Final: 82-56

"We played fantastic tonight and we simply put a beat-down on the Broncos tonight on the road," beamed Coach Frizzell after his Princeton Tigers simply overpowered a solid Boise State team 82-56. Boise State was never in the game from the start and was behind 46-22 at halftime before Coach Frizzell started playing his backups. Cassiand Swift was phenomenal in his debut as the stud freshman scored 17 points and collected 8 rebounds in a dominating performance down low. Reynold Gross added 10 points while Benjamin McBridle came off the bench to deliver 14 points for the Tigers in their blowout win in game #1 of their west coast swing.

                          Princeton starts to year 1-0.

Another Game, Another Win for Princeton

                          11/6 @ San Francisco

                          Final: 87-65

San Francisco certainly put up a good fight, as the Dons were only down 39-31 at halftime, but the talented Princeton Tigers were simply too much in the end as Wendell Lalugba exploded for 21 points in Princeton's 22 point victory over a solid San Francisco squad. Lalugba recovered from a mediocre 7 point performance in his first game to lead the Tigers in scoring. Cassiand Swift was no slouch, either, as Swift tallied 17 points and 15 rebounds in another dominating performance in the low post. Reynold Gross paced the offense with 7 points and 11 assists while Cedric Tchana added 9 points in the win. "We played solid basketball out there today. We just out-played the Dons and that is something we hope to keep on doing," commented Coach Frizzell.

                          Princeton is now 2-0.

Princeton Comes Back From 10 Down to Win Overtime Thriller

                          11/7 @ Nevada

                          Final: 83-81 (OT)

After two easy wins over very good basketball teams to kick off their season, Princeton now traveled to Nevada to take on the Nevada Wolfpack, a very good mid-major. Princeton found themselves up 37-30 at halftime, but got too complacent with their lead as they eventually found themselves down by 10 points with just four minutes remaining. However, Wendell Lalugba and Reynold Gross would both catch fire in the final four minutes of regulation to lead the Tigers back to tie the game at 71 and send the game to overtime. In overtime, Princeton jumped out to an early lead and cruised from there on out, ending up with a slim two point victory to move to 3-0 on this young season. "We got too complacent with our slim lead in the second half and nearly let this one slip away. We need to be sure to keep on playing hard, no matter the score, or this sort of thing will come back to bite you. It almost did today," explained Coach Frizzell, who was glad just to excape with the victory. Reynold Gross had his first double-double of the year as the senior point guard tallied 20 points, 11 assists, and 4 steals in the win. Wendell Lalugba also played very well as he totaled 21 points and 6 rebounds. C.J. Harrington (11 points, 4 rebounds) and Cassiand Swift (13 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals, 3 blocks) both also had solid games in the Tigers' overtime victory.

                          Princeton is now 3-0.
                          -------------------------------------------------------------------------
                          Gonzaga Crushes Princeton

                          11/10 @ Gonzaga

                          Final: 68-98

Princeton's first three games were certainly not against cupcakes, but the Tigers were taken aback in this one as the 23rd ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs demolished the 3-0 Princeton Tigers by 30 points to move to 2-0. Gonzaga led 49-33 at halftime and continued to dominate most of the second half to win 98-68. "This was a huge disappointment for us," explained Coach Frizzell. "We wanted to win, but I really couldn't complain if we lost a close one to an excellent Gonzaga squad. However, a 30 point loss for us is ridiculous." Perhaps the Tigers were tired as this was their fourth game in only eight days, but a 30 point loss is still not the way Princeton wanted to end their largely successful west coast swing. Cassiand Swift (18 points, 7 rebounds), Wendell Lalugba (11 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals), and Cedric Tchana (11 points, 4 rebounds) were the only bright spots in a game filled with huge blunders, especially on the defensive end of the floor.

                          Princeton is now 3-1.

After letting this game sit for about a month or so, I will be resuming once again as before where I left off with the college basketball season approaching.

I also may post the ESPN College Hoops 2K4 dynasty with WVU which I have played sparingly over the last few months. I play 2K8 generally more than 2K4, but I like having 2K4 for a change of pace. I have plenty of notes for it (I'm a dynasty-tracking nut, LOL), so I might as well put it up on the web I guess.

Anyways, updates will be forthcoming over the next few days hopefully!

It's about time you got back to Coach Frizzell's PU Tigers. Good luck the rest of the season and don't worry about the big loss to a very good Bulldogs squad.
