Rebounding seems to be a big strength this year, that's going to end up being huge in the tourney.

Wow New Mexico State 13-1 and in the Top-25 this deep into a coaching legacy. I am impressed..
I like the fact some other A-10 Majors are still holding onto some spots as well as the nice showing by the Pac-10 being a westcoast guy.Comment

Yeah, it’s cool to see how things change. The A-10 has become a de facto power conference in recent years.Comment

vs.
Syracuse (9-8) vs. #2 West Virginia (16-0)
WVU Coliseum
Morgantown, WV
January 10th, 2034
Nik Buscher scored 21 points and added five rebounds and three blocks as No. 2 West Virginia edged past Syracuse 79-69 this evening in Morgantown.
The Orange (9-8, 3-2) gave the Mountaineers (16-0, 4-0) one of their toughest games of the season, but in the end it wasn't enough, though the Mountaineers' 10-point margin of victory was their smallest such margin this season.
Shannon Edwards added 17 points and eight rebounds for West Virginia and Skip Bradford totaled 12 points, seven rebounds, and four assists. Felipe Delgado also scored 11 points and grabbed four rebounds.
Barry Hammond scored 15 points to lead Syracuse in scoring. Gregory Sowers tallied an impressive 12-point, 15-rebound double-double and freshman point guard Jason Wilkins added 13 points and five rebounds. Fellow freshman Roger McCurry also came off the bench to score 10 points.
West Virginia forced 16 Syracuse turnovers while only turning the basketball over seven times. This ultimately proved decisive in what was otherwise a tight game.
Next up for West Virginia is their biggest Big East Conference game of the season as they will hit the road to face No. 7 Connecticut in Storrs, CT.

Re: Coaching Legacy of James Frizzell (CH 2K8)
It was closer than I expected. The difficulty level seems to be ratcheting up in conference play. We definitely could have lost it, so I wasn’t super confident. When we have a bad shooting night, we’re certainly beatable.Comment
