Here's a screenshot of my end of April stats with the Seattle Mariners. I've lost 2 games since then (3 straight) and am now 16-14 on the year, holding on to a 1-game lead over Texas, Anaheim and Oakland in the AL West.

Hanson isn't doing great either, I'm thinking of trading McClouth and Sherrill for a good righty releiver and moving schaffer to CF.
Yeah, I'm thinking I might promote Schafer at some point too, he's currently hitting pretty well at AAA. I'd really like to replace Mather with a legit RH bat off the bench. Maybe a righty who can handle CF, and platoon a little bit with Schafer...

Tommy Hanson actually started off the season 0-6 with a pretty bad ERA, but he's been completely dominant since then, and I'm nearly leading the league in Ks with him. Sherrill is just getting dominated, so he's either going to be a piece in a trade, or just flat out released pretty soon. I think eventually Corry Gearin, Kris Medlen, or maybe even Scott Proctor will be replacing Sherrill and Martinez before too long.

I'm looking at my 1-5 guys to be.

Hudson, Jurrjens, Minor, Hanson, Beachy by the end of the year.

Lowe will get traded. Medlen i'll use as a releiver. He'll probably replace Sherrill and I'll release him.

My bench is currenty, Young, Hicks, Ross, Hinske.

I use Hinske as a LF, RF, 1b replacement and a PH of course. The only reason I have Hicks is for a SS replacement. A--Gon seems to tire easily in game.

Young will get sent back down tonight and I'mma pull Schaffer up and give him some platoon time with McClouth until I can figure out what to do with him. I need a big RH bat off the bench also.... Really all the team is missing. I'm looking to make the playoffs at this rate, as a wildcard at least.

I'm trying my best to get chipper another ring, seeing as most people see him retire at the end of year 1.

I went on to win 3-0. Hanson picked up my first complete game and 2 hit shutout. I moved to 7-12 for the year.

Conrad is hot for me,he is batting over .300. He drove in two of the three runs in this game, so I will insert him at 3B and moved Chipper to left field. I will see how that works before making a trade.
Look at bringing Schaffer up. He's an average hitter, don't expect alot of power. He'll give your braves the much needed speed they need. He can play LF for you. If you hit it in the gap with him at turner and the CPUs CFer isn't a speed demon, its a very good chance you can get a triple.

Just started a franchise with the NY Mets yesterday.

            Headlines

In season opening series we lost the rubber match game to The Marlins in a ugly fashion 1-9. Our pitching and hitting really struggled in this game. Too many walks and R.A. Dickey knuckle-ball got smacked around like a hot potato.

Johan Santana suffered a Torn Finger Ligament in first game. Out 1-2 months. I hope we don't end up like the real life Mets and have players dropping like flies!

            Overall Record 1-2

            Next Series @ Philadelphia (2-1)

Just blew a huge lead. Leading the Nats 5-0 after 8 innings. Two pitchers combined for a 1 hit through 8. So I put in a guy who had a rough outing last time out to lower his ERA. That back fired and I needed to use 3 pitchers to get out of the 9th. Lose the game 6-5. 2-2 on the young season.

I had the A's try a suicide squeeze on me last night in my Royals franchise. The batter missed the bunt and I dropped my controller right when my Catcher caught the ball and it moved my Catcher forward allowing the runner to score from 3rd and win the game.

                  I was so mad.

Mets take series on the road against Philadelphia 2-1

Jason Bay and Angel Pagan came out of their hitting slumps and really helped the team win in game 1 and 2.
Pitching was a lot better compared to the Marlins series. This road trip was a success!

Game 2 of the series was a complete walk away. 8 runs on 19 hits! The Phillies skipper kept Joe Blanton
in there too long but it was probably because their bullpen needed rest after coming in early the night
before in the Cole Hamels loss.

                    Overall Record 3-3
                    Next Series vs Washington (5-1)

I just did the same thing! Except, with starter Barry Zito.

                      Okay. I'm ROLLING through 6 innings. 1 Run and 8 freaking K's!

I literally said to myself, "This will probably NEVER happen again, so let's ride his confidence meter through 7!".....

Yeah. My result was the same as yours. Zito gives up 2 more (making the score 3-3) and my bullpen implodes in the 8th.

                      LAD beats SF 7-3.

                      Tough. Loss.

My team is rolling right now, I took 3 out of 4 against the Brewers which will probably be my NLCS matchup.

Then last game I get 4 runs in the 10th against Colorado to beat them 5-1. Rod Barajas is mister RISP, he is beyond clutch for me.

I'm halfway through august, just 40ish games to go, I've never finished a season before so I am getting pumped for the playoffs.

I chose to do a fantasy draft and picked the Marlins as my team, I made some good pick ups getting Tim Lincecum with my first pick and also got Jason Bay, Prince Fielder and Carlos Beltran. What I am doing in my franchise is I am pitching every game with Lincecum and what I do is. I bat in the games until I get the lead then I only pitch. If I happen to blow the lead then I will go back to hitting and pitching in the game. So far it is pretty fun my team is 21-15 and I am 5-2(Leads MLB) with a 2.67 era (5th) and 48 k's (3rd) with Lincecum. Hopefully I can win the Cy Young with him!

                                More updated in the future!
