I liked the addition of the catch type buttons.

Edited: Played it the least. Franchise was not working and the 32 team control was not for me. I switched to nba 2k and mlb the show.

I took a break of a few years after playing Madden13 and maybe I could've taken a longer break from it...

Same old Same old. It's a little better on the field, but the special teams are a boring letdown and there are major franchise problems from simmed stats to progression.

Completely agree. This guy has hit my perspective entirely. Older Madden's allowed us to focus on the oppositions top run plays to the point that i was actually able to read and react in game. Now its almost like a crapshoot except for all verts.

I don't feel like I'm the REAL GM of a franchise but rather just playing a virtualized fantasy football league. The contracts never feel right and a better focus on this aspect may allow the CPU to rationalize cuts/signings/trades better. It just seems like its the same year after year; "Let's revamp the player movement system, change the menu listing in-game and update the rosters".

Primarily a CFM player. Enjoying the improved visuals and game play this year although I still need to use sliders to get more realistic stats/experience. Overall, I enjoy the game for what it is, but it still needs a lot of work on the CFM side. It is November and unfortunately, there are still big issues with CFM that take away from the enjoyment of the mode.
